Thank my fan for this idea of drawing Peacock Goddess. When I found out about her, I saw a lot of different theories. Like in Greek mythology, The peacock was Hera's sacred animal. According to the legend, Zeus, the king of the gods, once fell in love with Io, a priestess of Hera. ... Afterward, Hera gave the transformed girl to her servant Argos, an all-seeing monster that had a hundred eyes all over his body. Please tell me more about her if you guys know something.

I can do both :) well I mostly use colouring pencils to colour my drawings but I also use paint sometimes. and I can draw on mobile and colour it

It's really hard to control the amount of water for watercolor. And also, the paper... It's expensive and I can't find it anywhere. TwT. I only draw traditional when practicing anatomy and my watercolor painting sucks!!!! And wait.... 87 LIKES? I JUST SLEEP UNTIL THE NEXT DAY....

@@Lolaforever15 1. Uhm...if they know the gender and pronouns they should use them. Some people might feel insecure if they are transgender and the person knows their pronouns but just uses they them . (Like me. I don't like it. Other people don't as well.) 2. I hate eyes. They suck to draw

@@cobialennon195 I'm not hating or yelling but not everyone can, even with lots of practice. I've been drawing since I was 5 and it's been over 7 years and i still can't draw the other eye very easily. And that is with drawing daily for about 4 of those years. Also I think it's really cool that you know how!

So a short story .... There was a god and goddess they were the saviours of the peacock all over the world and due to a curse the male turned into a peacock (the right one ) and the goddess swears to protect him and all the peacock ever after ... I JUST MADE IT 😅😅

Io was actually transformed into a cow by Zeus. He indeed fell in love with Io and did it to hide this fact from Hera. Hera noticed that the cow looked very unhappy. Hera decided to play along and asked Zeus to gift her the cow, because it's such a beautiful creature. Scared she would find out the truth, Zeus agreed. Then Io was put under the watch of Argos (a giant with 100 eyes) so Zeus wouldn't Try any funny business. Surprisingly enough Zeus is felling bad about Io's situation and asks Hermes to help. Hermes bores Argos with a long and boring tale about the creation of the panpipes, which makes him fall asleep. Hermes cutts off Argos' head to make sure he doesn't wake up. Hera decided to immortalize Argos by putting his eyes on the tail of her peacock which is why those birds have "eyes" on their feathers. Io has some big trouble later on (like being chased by a Fury all over the Mediterranean) but in the end she returns to her true form, marries an egiptian King and lives happily ever after far away from Zeus. Also she is the ancestor of Heracles. Cool.

Pure practice, im in artschool and the entire class was so excited for our first drawing class, trying to guess what we'd be making and all we were allowed to do was draw straight lines. For two weeks, just pages full of straight lines.

Anyways but i wanted to say that the main comment here is about a god from indian mythology... all Indians are very keen about him nowadays. He is regarded as the maintainer( sorry i forgot the other word) of this world.( His other form was regarded as the maintener maintener and his human form was Krishna). Edit: I forgot one thing... he always had a feather of peacock on his head like a crown ( like the one in the vid at 12:38)

Im going to continue the story thats in the desc. Ahem, Zeus felt sorry for lo and tried to help her. Therefore, he ordered his messenger Hermes to kill Argos. Hermes aproached the monster and started playing the flute to hipnotize him. Soon after the monster feel into a deep sleep and Hermes took a stone and destroyed it. However, Hera knew all about the plan and had already removed the eyes of Argos the day before. So after Argos' death, Hera transferred all of his eyes to the tail of a peacock, to thank and honor her loyal servant. I really wanted to write this to help you out, because i am a big fan of mythology. Yes i don't know about some, but i also want to thank you for introducing me to this myth. If you ever need any more explanations on mythology, im ya girl!

I also draw anime, and it’s totally fine! Anime is challenging in its own way, so even if you can’t draw realistic that doesn’t mean you’re bad. I actually find anime very difficult. Keep being artistic 😜

Watching Huta Chan draws a peacock makes me remember one funny story. When I was about 5 years old. My brother and my room ( we sleep together back in the days ) use to have a fake peacock feather in a big jar ( it was full of fake peacock feather ) and me and my brother decided to cut all of the fake peacock feather into pieces. But then, my mother came into the room and saw the mess. She makes us do one year of chores and we regret it really badly. Back in the days, me and my brother are very naughty. I hope you forgive me mother! 😂
