This time I created a character for EVERY snack! That was a lot of work but it was so fun... even if the May box arrived a month late, I can draw mermaids whenever I want!

My favourite is the almond puff starfish girl because her hair looks like whipped cream and her colour palette is everything the design is so beautiful and I can just imagine her hiding in cracks and moving across rocks on the sea floor⭐️😊

My favorite is the jellyfish, I really liked it because it made me chuckle and it was very cute. I liked the fact that you pointed out of why you didn't make it the same skin tone, it really helped me out the fact that sometimes I need to go outside the box even though its just a simple illustration that I'm making.

For the first mermaid, as you said, it's not vitiligo. But you actually created something that exists! It's called hyperpigmentation! I have mild hyperpigmentation, its placed where you cant really see it, but im happy you represented it! Even tho you didnt make it on purpose.

so I'm not an expert on vitiligo, but I do know someone who has it who fully lost all pigment in her skin and she gets repigmentation where the skin colouration she lost comes back in splotches that are darker than her (now extremely light) skin tone and they look like what you put on the first mermaid.

Hannah Joanni I don't have vitiligo but I have some kind of pigmentation error on my arm and back, and that leaves me with these light splotches all over me. Everytime I exercise and my skin turns red, the splotches stay light and I'm so ashamed because everyone always points it out... Oh and when sunbathing my arm never gets tan :D Idk if this is related to the topic but whatever lol

I don't think the bald head is weird, some people can't grow hair naturally or have gone through medical stuff (like chemotherapies) that have made them lose their hair so I think it's really nice that you were including hairlessness in your designs 🙂

All of these turn out so cute n whimsical. Me favourites though were the eda-"mommy" 😋, the ramen noodles one, and the soda inspired one. But me absolute favourite if I had to pick just one would be the starfish type one. She just stands out more to me and I love everything about her. All the colour palettes you chose on each are quite striking and very well thought out. Even the oil dripping one! x

I LOVE how on the female mermaids you didn’t put a bra or ANY coverups(except for the Cheeto, and star ones) It makes them so much more gorgeous. I love them too much! Thank you for not putting that stuff on them. Coverups, bras and Such are a human concept, so mermaids shouldn’t have those things. I just spent two days working on a mermaid commission, I shipped it out today. They didn’t specify weather or not they wanted a cover, so I put her hair over her lady bits. Let’s hope she won’t be mad... Anyways, sorry for rambling, and again, thanks.

YES! I hate when artists use really cheap, lazy excuses to cover up the nipples, especially when it's like the cliche shell bras or something like that. It's not only a human concept, but it's a human concept derived from culture and religion and history. From people running around suddenly making women's nipples "unpure" or whatever. The first merm basically has an all over birthmark!! :) The second is a cutie. I like how the eggs look like dragon balls! The edomama is so cute with her baaaabieeees ;-; The fizzly witch merm is super cool Fluffy mermaid has the best hair! Chocolate oily mermaid is really pretty but also really creepy. I imagine she’s actually adapted to live in her oily habitat. The splatoonmerms are pretty cute :o The udon one made me think of calamari?
