In Kashmiri Traditional Sufi songs, it was a tradition to start any sufi song by reciting some verses from kalam of Sheikh ul Alam(ra), and this tradition was kept by Gh Hassan Sofi sahab as well, as you can listen in the beginning of this song. But now, that tradition is no more continued, don't know why
