Super beginner! (But know deep in my bones this is my highest calling and finally have the passion and courage to answer it!!) ….Found your channel last week and have been deep diving into them, took my first workshop this morning!! 50 years old just realized I have this gift. trying to figure it all out.. I’m getting closer to connecting with animals in this way but hard to discern whether it’s my mind’s voice or theirs.

Thank you Cara for these videos of support and encouragement. I feel I am an intermediate communicator (2nd phase), and am rearranging my life so that I have more time to practice and get "out there" more by volunteering at shelters. My long term intentions are to go full time professional, as the joy I get from helping animals and their humans understand each other better is sooo delicious.

I would say that I am on the cusp of phase 3. I’m frustrated because I can’t do it on demand and for some reason I’m having a problem asking the animal questions like I usually just let them start showing me things, so that’s where I’m at

Hi Cara! Love your videos and style. You are my inspiration! I first met you at the 2022 Animal Summit, on line. Took my time exploring the many speakers and decided to begin my journey as an AC with Alison Martin Smith. I have enjoyed her classes and the last one is next week. Before I decide to take more classes(with you, btw), I want to practice and watch more professional AC on UTube. As a Reiki Master Practioner, my interest is focused on animals. The ICRT was where I first took AReiki classes, earning certification from that institution. I’m a member of SARA, and a Reiki volunteer at a local shelter for several years. It’s my life and knowing that has brought me immense joy. Thank you for being you and keep teaching!!

I am training since one and a half years and still feel insecure at times. Many communications did work really well, but I also do mistakes and received nasty comments.from sceptics. Dealing with negative comments is maybe the most difficult part.

The very beginning!!!! Idk where to start or what to focus on first😩!!! I really wish I can take a course for guidance but since I can't work due to health issues I'm very limited financially and every course I've looked at is unfortunately out of my price range right now... Do you have any good books to recommend for people just beginning that gives a step by step explanation of how to do it? Thanks!!!!

Melissa, there are lots of books on animal communication out there. I recommend that you check them out and find the one that resonates with you the most. There are dozens to choose from! Good luck!

A lot of people ignore libraries nowadays. Most libraries have virtual books you can check out. If you’re on a budget, please look into your local library. They may have just the book you need & it will be free.

Dr. Cara, I have a very small network of family and even fewer friends. With that said, how might I find animals to practice with that I can also get validations? I have tried putting an ad on Craigslist several times but they keep getting removed. So I am uncertain HOW to go about getting the necessary practice. Any ideas?

David, there are free AC practice groups on Facebook that you could join. When I first started out, I would just take walks in my neighborhood and practice with whatever animals I encountered (including insects! ). My Animal Wisdom Insiders group on FB has weekly opportunities to practice, too.

@@DrCaraGubbins Thank you for your response Cara. Unfortunately I am not a FB user for many reasons. However for the last 2 years I have been communicating with plants, animals, and insects! I know for a certainty that I can communicate with all life as I have seen the results. But to become more accomplished and more confident I need communications with animals that can be validated preferably from humans. I have written a 'coming out' document that I am considering distributing to co-workers, neighbors, and my vet clinic, to offer free AC sessions for my practice. Thank you for all that you do!!

Hi Cara! Thank you so much for your words of comfort. It really helps ❤️ I consider myself at the beginning of stage 2. And I wanted to ask you - when speaking of 3-6 month for each of the first two stages, what regularity of sessions is meant? Every day? Or once a week? What would be your recommendation for this? I am really looking forward to your answer 🙏🙏🙏

AnurielTheHuntress, you are so welcome! I'm glad this is helpful info for you! The range of 3-6 months is what I see for my students doing weekly practice sessions. If you can do a little every day, that is awesome, but it is not necessary to make progress. I just suggest finding a schedule that works for you that is sustainable. Once or twice a week is a good place to start and adjust from there. good luck!

@@DrCaraGubbins Wow thank you so much for answering! Once or twice a week sounds so accomplishable! This really motivates me. I have already started meditating each morning after watching your video, so I am really grateful to you for rekindling this enthusiasm in me. The only thing that troubles me is that I don't feel myself able to fully open my heart during animal communication. I am Christian, and I am afraid of evil spirits getting inside. Do you think a prayer before the session will help? I am sorry if I bother you, but I hear so little about correlations between animal communication and God. More often I hear Christians being against any extrasensory stuff, calling it powers granted by demons. But somehow animal communication seems so different to me. So pure, and based on love and unselfishness. But being Chrisitan I can't get rid of this uncertainty about opening my heart just like that. I am sorry if my speech insulted you in any way. But I am a bit desparate, and I felt that maybe you had some experience about it. Please forgive me for taking you time and not giving you anything in return, apart from my respect and gratitude to you.

@AnurielTheHuntress yes, I think a prayer would be helpful. To me, practicing animal communication is returning to our natural state. Most of us have forgotten who we are and what is possible. I agree that animal communication is pure when it comes from love and respect and understanding. I think there are many misconceptions out there, and I am so happy that you are finding your own path that includes animal communication and your faith. Keep going and be safe!
