Aren't you like the last one they call? When I worked at a dermatology department we would call the resident first, and then the resident would call the attending or if shit really hit the fan we would call both. But they would be at home on earnings and nights. But always there during the day, also in the weekend.

Enjoy your vidios. Bee an x ray tech for 30 years. IR/ cath lab for 20. Currently IR. I know exactly of what you speak. You seem like a cool doc. It didnt always used to be that way. Radiologist used to have a huge chip on thier shoulder. Now all the young guys, for the most part, are down to earth. You guys and gals realize you want things done your way and efficient but the team makes everything work........ didnt used to be that way 30 years ago. Would love to see your techniques in more complicated procedures. I might learn a trick.

Given that you'll soon be moving closer to work, maybe these ideas for solving your parking problem aren't important, but I thought I'd throw them out. 1. Find someone nearby who has off-street parking and doesn't commute to work daily. Pay them for their parking spot. They can still find a place on the street. You will have one waiting for you when you get home. Assuming your time is worth more than theirs, you both come out ahead. 2. Look around for parking you can rent. I did that when I lived in Seattle's crowded University District and worked at a hospital about two miles away. I biked to work and left my car in that rented spot. The only downside was that it was under a fig tree and in the fall birds ate the figs and, well you can guess what they did. I solved that problem by covering my car with throw-away painters plastic.
