The small amounts of cotton threads in the skin really don't make ANY difference in wound even if they remain in the wound! The terrible pain caused by Gauze makes a big big difference to the wound-healing! Nothing is better than COTTON on the wound, NOTHING❤❤

Good morning Doc, One month back I had injured my nail wherein my nail of left hand middle finger had to be removed and nail bed had 5 stitches. It’s a month now and wound is getting better but I m worried about the re growth of my nail bed as I want my new nail to look good / normal What kind of precaution I need to take and should I apply any ointment on it. Currently the skin over nail bed has started to get harder but it’s not smooth/flat surface. Kindly guide me as what I can do or apply any ointment to keep it smooth or any other advice
