Dread Bun Tutorial (one loose knot). For long Dreads.

A dread bun with only 1 loose tie and no products. Will shake loose when you want it down, otherwise it will stay in all day. You can make this as loose or as tight as you want, for more volume make outside wraps loose, and tighten it with the inside wraps.

+PNW dreads It should be ok because there really is no movement in it all day, you can tuck it in as tight or as loose as you want, the tighter you tuck the harder it will be to shake loose, you can pretty much create your own updo with this one tie method, just wrap and tuck everything into the hair that makes that initial knot. Let me know how it goes!

How long can you leave them up without your scalp hurting though. That's my problem. Every style starts to hurt after a couple of hours.

Adventures With Wild Kooda Bill Yeah I saw your 4month video, your hair is basically like mine, I couldn't do the neglect method with my situation, so i helped the process along with back combing and crocheting, I also made and added extensions into my dreads, When i started my hair was about 4 inches longer than yours, but I lost those 4+ inches in the back combing process. It's great to be able to chat with someone from the other side of the world mate!

The weight doesn't seem to bother me one bit. They aren't really that heavy unless they are wet then they can get quite heavy.
