Update: Haste now lessens fall damage instead of negating it. There is a ring you can aquire to completely remove fall damage. Jumped off the starting town with haste and early lost all health. Still survived though.

This game has become my obsession since getting it a day ago. Really draws you in the way an elder scrolls game does.

Glad it was helpful! Like I said to another comment I intend on making a follow up once this game leaves early access.. Or sooner should there be any significant changes.

@@Darek_B52 yeah, i'm sort of torn about playing too much now before it's finished but the game and world building is too interesting. It's hard to stop playing.

@@gudi3451 if I recall correctly there's going to be 3 more islands and the main campaign hasn't been added into early access (save for the opening bit) so there's plenty more to come. The house update is a little broken right now though. Ended up with 500 iron ore when I should've had only like 30.

I fear the guide may be a touch out of date. I haven't played since the Emberian update. I will of course be covering this game moreso once it finally releases. Have fun, man.

how to i det reputation to enter the room in the cut purse? do i need outlaw reputation? (i killed some of them in front of the mage tower and lost reputation)

You need outlaw reputation yes. Only way to currently increase it is with the two quests and spamming Godlets. Best advice I got it just to get the time skip spell off the wikkan island and then start collecting Godlets. They respawn after 3 in-game days I think.

i'm loving the game but having trouble with the map. I cant seem to find the spots I need to stand in, I've been using the item repeatedly to no success...

Okay, I'm assuming you're meaning on the first (main) island past the tutorial. There are 4 locations. The clock tower in the town...not the town but the clock tower (I think they're two separate things) Then you have the farm. That's self-explanatory. The Bog one is the house in the forest surrounded by water. It's next to the path occupied by various enemies (butterfly, goblins, patrolling human factions) It's the one that has a tree that houses a friendly goblin. Lastly is the river split. Face the clocktower in the town and its that direction. Follow the river to a Y split. This one is a bit tricky/vague. Just wander around until you get the notice to mark something down. Finally your reward is cash and an invitation to the Academy. Any further map markings can be exchanged for cash. Hope this helped and sorry for the late reply PS you need to see the notification pop up in the upper left(?) Corner for it to be markable.

@@Darek_B52 gotcha this is my first real early access game. I’m used to games like morrowind where progress is something you want to hold on too. I enjoy the game and Vision but think I’m gonna step away until the game is done I’m not down for my progress getting bricked every update. I don’t mind little bugs here and there but my progress being bricked is bs I just put in 10 hours and I’m not gonna do it all over for it to get bricked again next save.
