F-Zero The Legend of Falcon Lap 5 - Brilliant Trap [Subbed]. In celebration of the 9th anniversary of the anime, I decided to sub the show with my friend Zedopp. We weren't too sure about some of the names, so they may not be entirely correct, but everything else should be fairly close to the original.
The material presented in the video belongs to Ashi Productions and TV Tokyo. We make no claims to anything. This is a fansub by fans for fans. Man Ryu Suzaku is actually a pretty cool character. It was a mistake making him the main character but I understood why they did it.

I just realized something: Ryu is injured physically, Jack is injured emotionally (he can't live without his machine and he wants it back so much. ^_^)

Lisa Brilliant... Of all the anime continuity exclusive characters, Lisa would be the easiest to fit into the main series. It's confirmed that Samurai Goroh has a family in GX/AX with the introduction of Dai Goroh. Anyway, I kinda like her. She has her relationship with Goroh but she does her own thing as well, and she has some interesting backstory beyond just that as well though it's kinda spoilery for this early in the show.

+Kei Romenan Japanese translations sometimes have issues with v's and b's--I remember a game I played calling a glove a "globe." Jack Levin is his name in the games, as well.

+Kei Romenan Japanese doesn't have the "v" sound, so words/names that have the "v" sound are typically written with "b" characters in Japanese. Jack Levin's name in Japanese is ジャック・レビン (literally, Jyakku Rebin). Compared to English, Japanese has a limited number of sounds, so when writing non-Japanese words/names in Japanese, approximations need to be made. It's understandable that the (Japanese) makers of the show might not transliterate the Japanese script to EXACTLY what the English name was meant to be.
