As a salesman at a former Nitro dealership I can tell you that if you plan on using your live well much you better buy an extra touch panel. They are notorious for going bad. My brand new 2022’s touchpad lasted 3 days. Also get you a set of blue accent stripes for your motor. It will look awesome!

I also put the co angler rod storage option in. In addition where the step is between seats I made a fiberglass tray that sits over the tank. On the Z18s they didn’t start adding that tray until the 2022 models and Tracker does that as a factory install so I had no choice but to break out the fiberglass mold making stuff and create a custom tray …

I’ve got nearly the same boat, a 2020 z20 with talons. Good: the ride, gelcoat quality, price (especially in 2019) Bad: touchscreen (mine died and needed replacement and new ecm. Luckily dealer fixed for me even though I was out of warranty). Carpet quality isn’t great. Big box dealers can be bad. Overall happy with mine. With new boat prices I’m hoping to hang onto mine a long time they’ve gone up a bunch since 2019

I love my 2021 z18. So much so that I kept it when I upgraded to my FXR21 Apex this year. It’s a great boat for my son to fish his High School league in, and for our lake house which really isn’t big enough to stretch out the Skeeter on (3km x 1km lake in an almost perfect crescent), but for myself and my son, the Z18 is perfect. Basically I kept it for him. He wants to go through the college leagues, so this will be his first boat. Maybe I’ll give him the Skeeter for college in two years, sell the Z18, and finally get that Ikon I want.

Great review of the boat! Custom color? Skip the flashy flakes (it’s not you) and go matte! Matte colors are SO beautiful. No bling bling but real “wow” factor. I personally love matte baby blue but that’s my thing… Matte black, white, green, light blue are all killer colors! Even matte orange if that’s your thing. And always with a splash of matte black or white in the mix.

Boat looks really nice. You did a great job getting the way you wanted. A red, white, and blue color scheme would look good. Especially if you have the American flag 🇺🇸 weaved into the exterior. Don’t forget a comfortable place for Bog to rest.

Like you I could own any boat I wanted. I love my Z9 nitro. I like your boat even better. Lots of cool improvements on your newer boat compared to my older one LOL. One bit of advice. Those bunk boards on the trailer. Keep a eye on them. I've had to change them all out. They last a while tho but they didn't use special wood LOL

I love my z20 I got it this year back in March. I upgraded to the 250 as well no power poles a light load of tackle and by my self I can get 75 mph and I have a manual jack plate

The touch pad is bad... they replace them and give you an extra. Power poles or anchor poles are good for Florida. Supposed to be a 76 mph boat but you have it loaded up

I’m look at these nitro z20 on sale,looking at one with mercury 225 v8 , you think that is enough power for 20’ nitro, I don’t tournament fish , I’m looking stability in case I get into rough water, I don’t have $80,000 for other brand boat,you ever thought placing your rod straps in front Deck, from the side gunnel to the rod doors , so you can open door without moving your rods , but still keeping the original strap , I seen that on a video, what a great idea , thanks for informing on your boat

It's not greatly priced anymore. I sold my boat in April and was going to order one of these and was told they weren't taking orders till August or September. I called around mid July and asked again and they had me come in and choose my options and get an order prepared. They printed me out a sheet and it was now 87,000.00 It went up almost 20k from April to July and there were less options available to choose from as well so I backed out. I changed what I want now even though I would still buy one of these. I am searching for a season or two old Falcon F20 Predator or F215 that someone has already loaded up. I just missed out on a 2019 F215 that was loaded and only 90 hours on it for 64,500.

I bought a new Z20 this year and got it in July. I like the layout and price. Could you do a video on how you set up your surge brake system. Couple of issues ive had. I had to modify my boat cover to fit because ghost TM was bigger than the standard minkota TM that cpmes with it. I also needed cover longer to cover the last foot to keep water off back deck. I think they put a 19 foot cover on it. I also added poles to help shed water. I couldnt back boat up without surge brakes activating. So i had to use the metal spacer behind the bolt in the tongue every time i needed to back up. Ive found out there is a selenoid on my boat i can get wired up to deactivate my surge brakes. I was never told about this when i picked up my boat. Im having the wiring on car fixed to activate the selenoid. Other issue my Nitro Z 20 lettering has come loose. I pushed down the flapping N letter and it has held but i lost the lower half of the 2. I really like your console mount. My mount covers my upper guages on consol. I need to switch to yours. Am i pleased with my boat not 100% I need to remove the front rod tubes like you did. I really like live well and removeable trays. I got the radio and deck lights. Problem with deck lights is you cant add a lock R bar. Of course i wasnt informed of this when i ordered my boat. That was a big bummer. I happy to be retired and fishing in my boat after not having a boat for 3 years. My aluminum boat was scraped after 35 years of service. A sad day. Thanks for your great videos. Keep making em i enjoy em and learn a lot.

The ladder is not for swimsuit girl … it’s for when you drive your boat up onto the trailer and climb out to attach the winch only to see your SUV start to roll back into the reservoir because you left it in ‘drive’ so you jump in and stomp on the brake and put it into park and then watch your nice silver and blue 2021 Z18 Pro slide back into said reservoir and slowly float away. So you then jump onto the dock and when it’s obvious the boat will not come close enough you jump into the water, put down the swim ladder and climb into your boat … I love fishing alone ….
