Soheil, your efforts and explanations as usual are commendable👏🏼. Anyway, 📌this combo is very conservative and you could tweak the settings better since there are lots of missed trade opportunities. If you lower the MACD to 50/100 instead of 100/200, a lot of trades can be taken. The risk/reward can be lessened to 1.2 thereby increasing the hit rate. That’s just my humble opinion😊

Yes I agree, with the MACD/signal settings at 100/200 the trade will have already occured by the time you receive confirmation from the MACD.

Thanks again for this trading strategy, as no indicator is going to be perfect all the time. It does give good trades even if the 30/-30 line doesn't line up perfectly with the MACD in my back testing. It gives accurate bigger point moves then deciding not to take the smaller moves as it filters them out. Thanks Very Much

I think it's not defined by the author. Just check and see if it's available. On the right side of your cursor, there is a plus sign, click on it, and choose setting alert for indicator.

The indicator can be effectively used on any time frame as part of a trading strategy. The strategy I explained in this video is for short term trading on 1m, 5m, and 15m.

Even with the most profitable setup, you can't be profitable because you need to improve other skills like risk management and position sizing, emotion control, discipline, adapting, etc. and these are gained through practicing and experience. Practice as much as you can, and start with real money only when you're consistently profitable in demo trading.

Choosing MACD settings depends on the strategy. In this strategy we needed to know about longer term trend, so we gave it more extreme levels. And about the signal, as I explained in the video, reaching to the level or going beyond that.
