democracynow.org - R. Kelly was released from jail in Chicago on Monday, three days after he was arrested and charged with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault. The charges involve four women and girls, three of whom were under the age of 17 at the time of the alleged crimes. A judge set bail at a million dollars and forced the singer to surrender his passport. Almost immediately after he posted bond and pleaded not guilty on Monday, Kelly was spotted at a McDonald’s in downtown Chicago-a spot his accusers say he used to frequent to prey on young girls. Kelly has been accused of abuse, predatory behavior and pedophilia throughout his career but has avoided criminal conviction despite damning evidence and multiple witnesses. Last month, the explosive documentary series “Surviving R. Kelly” thrust the case back into the spotlight. We speak with the documentary’s executive producer, dream hampton.

@@chadkennedy8675on charges that was deemed up under the old laws, the case was already tried and he was acquitted they brought this same case up, with a vcr tape that was suppose to be entered as evidence, now this vcr tape that was illegally entered in as evidence was not a tape that you could rent from block busters or Walgreens or any other outlet where you could rent movies from, No this tape was pushed through the porn industry and boot leggers on the streets, so it shouldn’t even be used as so called evidence. All of this stuff was made up for the most part, the part about him excepting the daughters from the mothers who were brought to him as a gift well he didn’t know hell the average 15 or 16 year old today look like the average 21 or 25 year old
