This inspires me to go through and get rid of things so I can see what I have and wear it. Much needed! Love how it turned out! The cozy rug and hutch make it look like a custom space, not a generic closet.

You're so lucky to get that hutch! The sliding doors at the bottom are exactly what I need at my house. Makes it so much easier than trying to make space work than with outward opening doors. It's so cool!

My closet is organized by colors and within the colors it goes from long leaves to sleevesless. Those boots are beautiful! OMG! Your closet is soooo awesome!!!!

Use çlippie type hangers for skirts for less wrinkles. Your house is phenomenal. Loved watching every minute of the house build and of course the shop.

Thank you for taking that broken glass out of the hutch finally. It was giving me an eye twitch worrying about it cutting someone's hands especially when Jamie was sanding the lip of the hutch in this video. Her knuckles were close (at least it seemed like it) :) Glad it is safer now!

I use clip hangers for skirts. I like skirts more than dresses because I can wear a T-shirt or blouse loosely over them, as I would with jeans or pants (I never tuck anything in, after having four kids). Beautiful rug.

I purchased a huge dresser at the restore that I painted and dark waxed. I folded the clothes and stood them on edge like you would have put in "files". I have to say that it is easier finding and removing clothes without digging and messing up the rest.

I love the black velvet hangers but my husband still uses the plastic....he prefers those for some reason. I use clips for the skirts & certain slacks. Less ironing when I worked in our showroom. Nice to have a large space like that.

We did our closet exactly like you did....painted triple dresser and have shelving unit above, rug, double single hanging.....even bought same hangers! Love watching it all come together! Jamie save the plastic hangers for the laundry room, then you can put wet delicates on them to hang and dry!

If you will spray window cleaner on glass before scrapings it is much easier to get off. Also won't scratch glass.

Y'alls ceilings are tall enough to have two hanging rods---stacked on top of each other with a shelf over the top rod. My ceilings are 10'. (Old houses rock!). And I did this in my closets. I DO have to have a step ladder to get heavy things off the top shelf. But it's so nice to have the double hanging space. Of course if you have long things like dresses and maxi length skirts you need an area that's single rod only. I LOVE organizing closets-wish I was close enough to help. ❤️. And I'm loving that cabinet you painted green in the closet. It looks fantastic!

Great video! I use clips for my skirts. They can leave a mark sometimes on the waistband but folding them over the hanger can leave a mark in the middle. I guess it depends on the fabric. I like how you showed the corbels being used in other parts of the house. That was great marketing. I probably wouldn’t have noticed if I wasn’t in the Creative Business Group 😊. Step by step, bit by bit, things are coming together. You’ve both worked so hard ❤️❤️

Velvet hangers are amazing. I didn’t have good luck with the black ones, color bled into light clothing. I have pale gray velvet hangers. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Skirts definitely with clips for hanging, less wrinkles and definitely not a crease where it was folded in half when using regular hanger.
