This French couple have built their dream tiny house. Located in an idyllic rural garden on the outskirts of Nantes, France, Celia and Damien’s home may be tiny, but it’s filled with some really big design ideas. Their tiny home is beautifully constructed, with cedar and metal construction on the exterior creating a striking architectural look while the interior has been kept wonderfully open, spacious and minimalist in its design.
The tiny house movement in France is still quite young, although it’s quickly becoming a hot spot for tiny houses in Europe as more people seek out options for affordable, alternative living.
This couple's home has absolutely everything, a wonderful open design creates room for a great sized kitchen, office, lounge and bathroom with sleeping loft upstairs. Celia and Damien have also wonderfully future proofed their home, adding a second smaller sleeping area in the loft to ensure they have some room in the tiny house to allow their family to grow.
From a home office in her tiny house, Celia runs a small online business. To check it out and find out more, please visit her website: womoon.fr/
I hope you enjoy the full video tour of this stunning tiny house.

I love it, bryce didn't flinch when they said they were parked there illegally. His priority is always being respectful to his guests and making them comfortable. Even more, I appreciate he included it in the video. I think it's important to hear the challenges and limitations of tiny house building too. And you're absolutely right, all movements start by brave people who go against the system. Love all you guys do on this channel.

Yes! Agree - It was such a big scale understandig that Bryce gave when they spoke about beeing parked illegally. All movemnets start with brave people, I wonder if the movement can change the stiff regulations in Europe, I live in Norway, and we are not either allowed to build bigger houses on wheels,...but WHAT IF manny brave people just did it enyhow!? Could it change the system - would it change?

@@couchconcerts again different culture. The French see no problem with staying around their parents up to even 30 years old and parents are there for their young adult kids. It's not the same economy nor mentality. Then they in turn will be there for their parents when they are aging...like a real family, like what I never had in the states😬😥 They have their independance with the help of her mom while they wait and push toward law changes (very difficult in France). Some families build homes for their grown offspring and grandchildren to keep them close as they help each other out...again, like a real family💕 FYI, I was abandoned by my American parents when I was 13🤮

I put things out the window like they did, but I had direct sunlight which was lovely, but did warm up food. I am all for modern conveniences. I like indoor plumbing, hot water, and a refrigerator. I personally love coal stoves...heated a large house with a beautiful English made black porcelain coal burner. I would love to see research on filtering coal smoke so that it could still be used for heat. It is such a warming heat.

You think educated, upwardly mobile Indians don't want big houses which are a status of success? We still need to go through the cycle of excess consumption and realization that we are wasting life by running after material possessions. We used to have tiny house living maybe 60 - 70 years ago, when people cared more about living and less about acquiring things. Tiny house is a state of mind as far as I know. 🏡

people are on board, laws are not. you don't even have the right to sleep in your car in France. it's a hundred times easier to build an apartment building than to find a land where you can live in a tiny house legally.

Beautiful tiny house, very well made. 75,000 euros is about 81,000 US dollars which is perhaps a bit more than most tiny houses but you can tell the materials are very high quality and I think it will last a long time. I think it pays to make it well built up front otherwise you pay more in the long run to improve the structure over time. It’s great they are paving the way for more tiny homes in France.
