Figure: Naturally good at singing techniques (seriously, how does he not break his vocal chords from the frequent roaring/growling during door 50 and 100) Seek: too used to screaming during the chase to be able to belt high notes properly/still figuring out how to mimic vocal chords with slime (Seek has been confirmed to mimic people’s screams during the chase, and I don’t think a good amount actually knew how not to destroy their voice) Screech: vocal chords naturally good for high notes and knows vocal growling, and has been practicing apparently.

You are standing in the hallway of an old, dingy hotel. "I've been here before," you think to yourself, remembering when you were trying to escape the hotel with your friend. The hallways are dark; there are no lights on anywhere except for the hallway where you stand now, and some odd spots around the walls. The place is creepy and quiet, and looks like it hasn't been cleaned since you last visited. There's a door at the end of the hall which leads west into the lobby. Your friend shouts from behind you, "What happened!? Where are we!?" "We're safe!" you reply reassuringly. Your friend takes a look around the hallway. "Where'd this blue glow come from?" he asks, looking up at the ceiling. You step out of his way and answer, "It came from me." He stares at you curiously. "Huh? From you?" "Yes," you reply. "When I was about to die, I saw a blue light. And somehow, when I woke up, I had this power." He stops abruptly. "You mean... you can kill things with your mind?" "Not exactly. But I can make people feel good or bad. Or even hurt them physically. I'm not sure how yet. But I'm learning fast." He looks at you with wide eyes. "That's amazing! Why didn't anyone tell me about this before? We could have used it against the monster in the room!" "Well, I tried to warn you but..." Your friend snaps his fingers. "Right, right. Sorry." He puts his hand on your shoulder. "But what are we going to do now?" You smile. "We're going to get out of this place alive!" He nods, but says nothing more. A loud sound comes from the other side of the hall. You turn to see a large man wearing a long coat and hat strode down the hallway towards you. "Hmph," he huffs as he walks. "So you are the one who caused all this mess. I should have killed you both when I first met you. Too late now." You hold up your hands. "Wait, please. We didn't mean to cause any trouble. All we wanted to do was leave." "Then go," he replies dismissively. Your friend steps forward. "Listen, mister. We don't want any trouble. Just let us pass and we'll be gone." "No," the man says as he reaches into a pocket and pulls something out. "This time I will stop you." He holds up a small box. Then he throws it at you. You catch the box without thinking, and open it. Inside is a piece of paper with some writing on it:  You are free to go if you find the key. It lies in the north west corner of the room.  If you try to leave without finding the key, you will have a chance to redeem yourself. If you succeed, I might let you live. Fail, and you are dead. With this, you realize that whoever sent you to the hotel is telling you to find the key. "Please, mister," you say gently. "Let us go. I promise we won't cause any more problems." The man stops in front of you. "Ah, so you are a talker too. Well, I'm not interested in hearing anything you have to say." He looks you over coldly, then turns away and walks off down the hall. You and your friend watch him for a moment. "What do we do now?" he asks. You put the note back inside the box and close it. "I guess we better find the key," you reply. Your friend nods, and together you head west into the lobby. The lobby is empty except for a bellhop leaning lazily against the wall near the desk. A large poster of a gorgeous woman hangs on the far wall. The carpet is plush and red; there are several couches along the south wall, while the west wall contains a large fireplace flanked by two chairs. On the east wall is a set of double doors leading out into the hall. In the middle of the lobby is a small reception desk. The bellhop looks up from his slumped position. "Welcome to the hotel," he says, smiling. > You There are 100 rooms. At room 100, you escape. You have reached the lobby of the hotel. You wonder why the bellhop doesn't seem worried about being alone in the lobby. As you walk past, he smiles at you and says, "Enjoy your stay." As you exit the lobby, you see your friend sitting on a bench next to the exit door. He's waiting patiently for you. "How did it go?" he asks. "Same as always," you sigh. "Nothing but a bunch of monsters trying to kill us." He stands up and brushes himself off. "Well, let's get out of this place," he says, and heads for the doors. You follow after him. Outside, the sun is shining brightly. The day seems to have come early. You and your friend walk down the street outside the hotel. You notice that the street is deserted, and you look around suspiciously. "I don't remember seeing any cars or people on the road," you say. "Yeah," your friend agrees, also looking around. "Strange." You start to worry. Maybe something went wrong with the game again. Suddenly, a car appears from behind a nearby building. It drives slowly down the street, stopping in front of you. The driver's door opens, and a man gets out. "Hello there. I saw you guys walking by. Wanna take a ride?" Your friend laughs nervously. "Uh, yeah, sure," he replies. You glance at the man. He has a strange aura about him. Something about him makes you uneasy. Before you can say anything, however, he grabs you by the arm and drags you into the car. You struggle to get free, but he pushes you into the backseat and climbs in beside you. "Hey!" you shout. "Let me go!" "Quiet," the man replies, pulling out a gun and pointing it at you. You freeze. You hear a loud thunk! and then another. He shoots you five times. After shooting, the man gives a soft laugh and says, "Oops!" You stare at him in shock. His laughter continues until the car starts moving again. You feel dazed; everything around you is blurry and fuzzy. The man takes his hand off the wheel, and sits there grinning at you. "Gotta admit," he says. "I thought you'd be tougher than this." "Who are you?" you manage to say weakly. "My name's Dwayne. I'm your ride home." A sudden realization hits you. "Why?" He gives a crooked grin. "Because I want to." You give him a confused look. "What do you want?" "Oh, just a little fun," he replies. You try to reach for the gun, but your arms won't move. You try to shout, but nothing comes out. Dwayne laughs again. "Don't be scared. I'm not going to hurt you." And then his hand goes to your mouth. His fingers are warm and rough. Your mind flashes back to the hotel, to the man with the gun. You begin to panic. "I said, don't be scared," the man says soothingly. "Besides, you really want to live, don't you? To see what happens next?" The car slows down and stops. You try to scream, but your voice is silent. "Now shut up," the man orders. You whimper quietly. The man leans closer to you. "See, I can't have you screaming in the car. People would notice." He places his hand on your cheek. It feels hot and dry. Slowly, he moves his hand towards your neck. You feel his fingers pressing softly against your skin. He wraps his hand around your throat and squeezes. You gag and gasp for air. He tightens his grip slightly. You feel dizzy. "Shhh," he whispers. "You don't want me to have to hurt you again, do you?" Your head spins. He loosens his grip. "Good girl." He gives you a pat. "I'll be gentle." You cough, spitting blood. He gives you another pat. "There. Now nobody knows about this, right?" You nod. "That's right," he says. "Nobody." He takes his hand away from your neck. You lean back against the seat, gasping for breath. He reaches into a pocket and pulls out a key. "Here," he says. "For your trouble." You grab the key as he opens the door. You climb out of the car and stumble across the street, collapsing onto the ground. Dwayne starts to get out of the car. "Where are you going?" he asks. "I'm sick of this game," you moan. He laughs. "Funny," he says, getting back into the car. You sit up, still feeling weak. You look around the city, amazed by how many buildings there are. As you watch, you see someone approaching from down the street. It's your friend. You wave at him to get his attention. He stops and waves back. "Come on," you say. "Let's get out of here."
