I 've shaped character and musical tastes around this album. It's been a huge part of my life for the last 17 years, so it's amazing to see a cover that truly makes it justice. Been playing it LOUD for the past 10 minutes in what is mostly a peaceful neighbourhood in the outskirts of Norwich. You manage to ride the whirlwind, my man. Shaken, not stirred is how I might describe your sensational drumming throughout this cover! Thank you, Panos. Incidentally, the B & W 'video' at the beginning reminds me thematically of a band that has been extremely influential in my life over many years - Ultravox. Man, I’ve got to thank you so much for doing the whole album. I’ve learnt the whole album from your videos and I never thought I’d do it. Yet now all I have left to learn is Finally Free. You’re covers are brilliant, always accurate. As a 13 year old drummer, learning this album is by far the most ambitious thing I’ve done. The Dance Of Eternity and Beyond This Life are the ones I find the hardest. But despite that I’ve still been able to nail them. Portnoy is favourite drummer (along with Joey Jordison) and you inspired me to learn the whole album.
