This was instantly one of Kim’s favorite Dream Theater songs after I played it for her. It speaks to how deep love means that you have the desire to make your partner’s life better by sharing their burdens and trying to help them during the truly difficult times. We do this for each other constantly and she’s my rock. So naturally it became our song even though it’s not your traditional lovey dovey love song. Celly to Chuck for the “with arms wide open” dancing 🤣

This is one of their more "radio friendly" songs. No crazy progression and solos. It's taken me a long time to warm up to this song but the live version from their Score album is good.
