Diamond C manufactures engineered beam trailers, I believe they were the first in the goose neck trailer industry.

I'm a contractor from Canada and I can say that I only see southland dump trailers around where I am.

I have a Southland dump 7x14 14,000#. Is the economy line, has had some flaws with it right from new. I bought a flat deck Big Tex from FOT trailers in Alberta. The owner there knew the owner of Southland and told me he always gave Southland a hard time for the sometimes low quality.

Didn't talk about brakes, axles or why they don't seem to have 17.5 wheels on it? Our Diamond C's both have 17.5 wheels and those are the way to go when you gross 40k regularly

I Must Admit I Am Impressed ! All Though I Do Believe All Trailers Should be Over Built Like This ! Its just Smart Business IMHO ! I Have Pulled 4Ton+ Down a Mountain behind my 4x4 Ford Ranger the 2.9L Engine ! Used to haul a lot of Steal to the Recycling Center and i pulled a 16ft tandem axial tailor that weighed about 1.5ton Empty behind the same Ranger..No Sudan Stops When i Was Loaded But I Am A Country Boy/Farm Boy And I Know How To Drive To ..lol.

Hi Stan love the videos, do you know when the artic straight blade truck plow will come out, and if the razorback can come with all of the hydraulics and everything like you would get with a normal plow?

Manufacturers will be held liable for rated towing capacities. I would think as multi billion dollar companies they did their homework. But your concerns are warranted.

Biggest issue with any trailer that exceeds 26,001lbs is 13% FET that is due at time of purchase….

Built with steel that I deliver to them great people around there we also hauled the cinder block for their new service shop at their trailer sales display yard

I built single and double axle utility trailers at my home shop. Just like the raised curve in semi trailers if you look at some utility trailer axles, they are curved. Theres still straight axles no curve. Its really simple. By the time you get a heavy load the axle straightens and tires are straight up and not leaning out at the bottom.

Stan you could put a hitch on a roof of a car and it would pull that trailer doesn't make it safe . If I was pulling that large loader with all that weight, I would at minimum want a tandem pulling it min 50 thousand pound gvw of truck with airbrakes on trailer.

Would be fine with a F450 dually if someone's trying to get close to max. Good trailer brakes do most of the work anyway.

Yea, you're making a big assumption that the trailer brakes are adjusted properly and in absolutely perfect condition. Trust me, a 7000lb empty trailer will toss a f450 with improperly adjusted brakes.@AceEverett

@@robertvannicolo4435 That's weird cause I regularly tow up to 14k with my single wheel truck and never once had an issue with controlling the trailer. Sounds like something broke on your truck there.

That trailer is a copy of the diamond fmax 312 with max ramps, nothing new just copying the best in the business. Diamond C is the best around

Was just going to comment. The Diamond C engineered beam allows them to be the same weight as an aluminum 40' gooseneck by EBY, except they have a greater capacity.

Dang, the gooseneck portion of the trailer appears to have the exact same neck geometry as the Diamond C brand!

There's is absolutely NO way a dually pickup should be towing 30000lbs. Even this set up is sketchy!

I think your underestimating modern trucks engine and brake setups it not at all sketchy behind the wheel I’ve seen rigs loaded down to 50k ( truck and trailer)

@@DaveInCanada081you know what your right it’s not like the majority of my family is in trucking both hotshot and big rig Also one of my friends grandparents own a oil pipeline company in the mountains you want to see sketchy watch him pull his excavator behind a modified single rear wheel pickup because he refuses to run a semi threw there narrow mountain roads

It depends on what you are calling a dually pickup. I have a RAM 5500 that is factory rated to tow 33K. (43k GCWR - 10k for upfited truck). But I wouldn't call that a "dually pickup" and no there isn't anything rated to tow 50k until you get to a road tractor chassis. Even a F-750 is only 50K GCWR. So not rated to tow 50k. ( Towing is GCWR - truck weight)

THAT'S ENTIRELY TO MUCH WEIGHT FOR A 1 TON.. SINGLE AXLE OR MEDIUM DUTY YES.. BUT 3500 4500 5500 NOT GOOD.... ALSO THAT WAS TOO MUCH WEIGHT FOR THAT TRAILER... YOU COULD HERE IS SQUEAKING... GET THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT FOR THE RIGHT JOB.... THIS KIND OF CONTENT PUT HOT SHOT HUALERS IN DANGER..
