Because a lot of you requested for a vocal mixing video, here it is. This is my way of doing things, don't consider it to be the bible for vocal mixing. Most importantly, don't forget to use your ears.

Hi, I want to record my written poetry professionally. But my room is not sound proof. The sound from outside comes inside our room. If I use Audio Technica 2035 mic and Shuru SM 58, then what will be the difference between the two? And which audio interface would be better for ShureSM 58. In which there is no noise and the quality is also good at the time of recording.

58 will serve better as dynamics are less sensitive than condensers . Also polarity, placement and of course performance will affect the recording drastically apart from the but obvious, "room acoustics "

Hello sir , me Abhishek Sinha from West Bengal , at first thank you for your all tutorials ... Sir , I faced a problem... I have a small home studio set up.... When I record ( running record timing) any vocals , I and the singer listen a hauling sound in headphone....But after record that vocal there is no hauling sound .... I use wright 800 Condenser microphone , Steinberg UR22C , Senhisser HD 206 headphones and Cubase 10.5 pro... sir can you plz help me ..... Thank you sir

Sorry, cant exactly say like this what can be the issue, until I hear it. If you manage to record it, you can send it to my mail . Apart from that, I am not really impressed with the gear you are using. You can improve them for sure

Also redmi has it's a to d converter in the phone. So if you use an external cable you need to select internal microphone. But the external will be selected. Cheers

Sir I have seen andy wallace, andrew scheps and warren huart use this technique as they said, they wanted to have some control over the dynamics before they were being sent for compression. I adapted this technique too some time back and It works well for me too.

@@DreamArtRecords it's called manual compression. I know that. Still a compressor and its reverse, expander will be fast to use. The process is lengthy and time consuming. If you are working against the clock, you would use a combination of compression and expansion and it will be fast and efficient and effective. There are a zillion ways to work. But in the industry time is most precious.
