Nicolai Bikes is known for handmade frames with wonderful welds and many wonderful milled parts. All frames can be ordered in different colors and also an anodized finish is offered. This Nicolai Saturn 14 we got in raw aluminium, as it is taken out of the frame gauge after welding.That with Nicolai only robust and rather heavy bikes are realizable, disproves this rather normal built Saturn with 12,35kg. Even with a pedal it stays below the magic 13kg mark. The assembly was a lot of fun, all threads and the head tube are perfectly machined, the cables run in soft radii, are laid in no time at all thanks to the external installation and provide a top shifting performance. The Nicolia Saturn 14 is a fascinating trail bike that stands out from the crowd.

Dieser Nicolai Saturn 14 haben wir in Alu roh bekommen, also so wie er nach dem Schweißen aus der Rahmenlehre genommen wird. Das mit Nicolai nur Robuste und eher schwere Bikes realisierbar sind widerlegt dieses eher normal aufgebaute Saturn mit 12,35kg, selbst mit Pedal bleibt es unter der magischen 13kg Marke. Der Aufbau hat viel Spaß gemacht, alle Gewinde und das Steuerrohr sind perfekt nachbearbeitet, die Züge laufen in weichen Radien, sind dank Außenverlegung ruckzuck verlegt und sorgen nebenbei so für eine Top Schaltperformance. Ein faszinierendes Rad das sich positiv von der Masse abhebt.
