The relay dances started out as genuine relay dances where they performed the choreography as written. As time passed with each new comeback the relay dances began to change and become more like their self made MVs. Choreographic parodies. Only dancers of the highest caliber can do this. If you want to parody something perfectly you have to master it first, and Dreamcatcher are Masters of the Dance.

I saw Dreamcatcher on July 7th in 2022 and they sang a snippet of the song at the concert! We were screaming out heads off lol

dreamcatcher \:D/ here's a tip to understanding a lot of dreamcatcher songs because several themes are recurring throughout their discography. the first is not giving up on your dreams, hence their name. another is maintaining your identity despite external pressure. this is essentially what the nightmare series is about, masked in tongue and cheek horror tropes lol. the 'nightmare' is being stuck in a situation where you feel you are losing yourself because everyone is trying to change you to fit their mold. it mirrors the situation the members are in, making music their way in an industry that expects everyone to fit the kpop mold. they were even told if they wanted to be popular, don't do rock. that's where wonderland comes in because the alice in wonderland is also a recurring reference. to me, the overall theme of the book is about finding yourself but alice is tossed in a world where everyone has an identity crisis of their own. trap also follows along similar lines. if you keep this in mind and you see lyrics kind of hinting in this direction, things should make a lot more sense. the long song in their albums is ballad-like and for/about insomnias. if you just look at these songs on its own, you can interpret differently but in the context of their discography you will see a correlation. being able to see one another just once a year is similar to how they view their relationship with many insomnias since it's likely that they can only tour in one location just once a year. I mention ballad-like because they don't stick to the traditional stereotypical ballad everyone expects but always switch it up with different genres.

July 7th is still one of my top favorite even after all these years. Is just so good. Dreamcatcher's entire discography is top tier 👌

The physical version of this album looks ever better. It has a clear sleeve over the outside with a glittery/holographic layer that overlays the album art ☺

Wonderland was the Song that got me into Dreamcatcher. I like their Main Titles but the b-sides are truely so so amazing. Also Sleepwalking is just so damn good

This is a really good mini album to showcase the depth and range of both the members' vocals and that of their main producers Leez and Ollounder.

You mentioned the cover being pink well thats a version of it theres black (the shade version) and its also very pretty (just curiosity) Dreamcatcher's relay dances are interesting not because of the member dancing in the front but because oft he shenanigans that happen in the back ☝️ About the album as a whole id say... its probably the one that solidified them as a versitile group. Before alone in the city people were like "oh, range, maybe?" And when this dropped we were all like "oh. Yeah. Definetely. R a n g e." lol i think its really a turning point for when they start to lean more into experimental and new genres and i love it so much. Oh and about july 7th, some people do consider it some kind of fansong. When the album dropped, dreamcatcher had toured quite a lot already and fans were asking them to comeback to so many countries it was kinda crazy, so some fans take the lyrics to heart and imagine them saying its a song about dreamcatcher promising them they will meet again. Its fun to watch this song in tours, how they interact with the audience and stuff

omg the folklore is so beautiful, i love it so much. when i searched more on it, i noticed this is like a korean version of romeo & juliet (not exactly the same though). the boy's name is Gyeonu and the girl's name is Jiknyeo. alsoooo i remembered a Wanteez episode where they played that video game (the one where they put on those teletubbies headbands), seonghwa's character was going to save hongjoong's character jokingly and the korean captions edited on the screen said "Gyeonu", "Jiknyeo". while the english subs translated it to "Romeo and Juliet"

Some of their songs have "it's Live" videos. If you want to see them dancing while singing with live band. I love this album. It is graphically and vocally and melodically gorgeous.

I love this mini album a ton but it kinda sunk in while watching just how much amazing music you still have ahead of you. This is going to be fun. Their relay dances tend to get more and more, ummm, Dreamcatchery as time goes on. You got little tastes of it here but you are in for many a treat if you continue to check them out as you move into the Dystopia era and on. Thanks as always for letting us tag along.

I've been following you for some time now and I really like your videos, especially those of Dreamcatcher, which is one of my favorite kpop groups. I wanted to make a request here. A particularly good song came out this week called Birth, it's by the group ARTMS, I think you'll really like it. Just a little introduction, ARTMS is a group formed by five girls from LOONA after the group disbanded. I don't know if you know the group or if you followed all the craziness that happened, but the 12 girls went to different agencies and these five formed a new group.
