Their tracks like No More, Don't Light My Fire & Endless Night have Metal influence. If you love Nightwish...I think Dreamcatcher's track that closest to Nightwish style is Don't Light My Fire & Deja Vu.

I think this might be my favorite song of theirs so far. I agree, this rock/metal vibe is what I'm here for with Dreamcatcher although I still enjoy what I've heard from them with other genres. Also, I went and watched a guide in between watching these two videos so I can start recognizing everyone other than Dami and I found out that Dami and I have the same birthday! Another reason for her to be my bias! But now that I've watched the guide, Gahyeon is coming for the bias title as well.

Kpop groups rarely ever do collabs. Kpop doesn't work that way, because every agency jealously guards their group's images and music. They do not want their groups to share the spotlight with anyone. When Dreamcatcher and other groups appear on It's Live, that's about as close to a collab you're going to get.

If I knew nothing about you, but that you are metalhead, this is the song (and this version of song) I would use to introduce Dreamcatcher to you. They also have a very funny self-made special clip in which they act out in literal ways the lyrics of the song (but there are no subtitles). Like Black and White and everything from Dystopia: Tree of Language and Dystopia: Lose Myself albums, Handong is missing, but in the live versions she gets a number of vocal lines and she does great with them. The real surprise in this song is when Gahyeon belts out the chorus at the end.

Hi Aaron. So glad you reacted to this live performance of Break the Wall first before their self made MV. There are a number of fantastic performances of this song available now so it can be tricky to recommend one for a first listen but I really think this is a legendary, unique must see performance. It was a special live stage streamed performance from 2020 when the song/album Dystopia: Lose Myself came out. You will see their unique use of the megaphones is to create the same effect from the production on the studio recording. But as always they sound so much better live than the recording. Dreamcatcher have so many good songs and I am always hesitant to pick favourites but Break the Wall is really high up on the list for me as one of my absolute favourite songs of theirs - possibly the favourite. If you check them out just the lyrics themselves and the empowering message of the song Is so good - but on top of this the passion that they use to deliver and perform it is amazing! 🔥 Dami contributed to the lyrics on this one - I believe she wrote her rap verses. The only things missing from this performance is a live band and the member Handong. This along with Sahara, Black or White and others were released in 2020 when Handong was in China for an Idol TV program and then stuck due to covid. For some magnificent OT7 (one true 7) performances (performances with all 7 members) I highly recommend you give the following 2 more recent performances a watch outside of your reactions.
