Hi, just wanted to ask if I need the robot to clean another floor in my home do I let it do it's thing before it leaves the dock, then when it moves off the dock I stop it, carry it the upper floor where I want it to clean? The dock station is on my main floor. Just trying to figure out how the robot will work on a floor where there's no dock station.. I have the x30 ultra

First choose custom clean, and adjust custom clean settings. I find that pressing the start button on the dock, then pause (or picking up the robot) after it leaves the dock to work best. Adjust the auto empty, and mop washing to the lest frequently settings. Also select lowest water usage settings. Once 2nd floor map has been created, you can set water and cleaning behaviors for the rooms. Map switching should also be set to auto. If yours only vacuuming the second floor, it's easier, and the robot will only complain once it runs low on power. I recommend getting a L10 for the second floor. There's a few L10 options, and they're very affordable now. You can also look for a used base station online for your x30, for when its on the second floor
