Man my only thing with LK baiken is he just never parries without meter lol don't get me wrong, it should be like 90% of the time you parry with the meter, but that 10% of the time can really get the opponent to loosen up their offense. Especially when bridget already has a yoyo out, you have some spots to parry her blockstrings. He's such a good baiken man, he's just gotta have that DAWG sometimes lol

I noticed that too. Buckets block strings have a LOT of gaps, but it's way to easy to get punished for trying to stop her. These top Bridget's are very good at not becoming predictable and thats probably something lk was thinking about. It's scary

I just noticed a few repeating block strings that kind of felt like they bridget players were noticing he didn't take any risk so they could keep using that same blockstring in those scenarios. I think when ur above 65% or so vs bridget it can be worth the risk just to make her use her honest blockstrings. He's also leagues better than me and hindsight is 2020 lol but i di notice lk parries a lot less often than other baikens

Naw hard thing about Baiken is winning the neutral with stubby normals and sub optimal frame data, the combos are fun and easy once you're in.

it doesn't seem like she confirms that well either compared to Ky and Bridget who just endlessly loop the same normals on hit or block. she does get to end combos early and go for safejump mix reliably though. Interesting tradeoff

Problem isn’t necessarily just lagging Leo, but Tempest’s Leo. He’s clearly very good at making certain choices for mix up as well as understanding the opponent to make Leo more effective.

@Cutie-wk2xx don't believe the downplayers, no top tier has been nerfed hard besides Zato. The rest have only ever received slaps on the wrist. That's why the meta is and has been the same few characters (Leo, HC, Nago, Sol) since a little after launch. I'm not hopeful for a meta change given how long this current one has stagnated, but also Tempest did go ripping through EVO Japan with Leo, and HC was also pretty dominant, so maybe they'll get actual tier-dropping nerfs next patch.

I hate to see leo play. The js has cancer hitbox and priority in every air to air, and is the only character that can dp while defending in the game since its the only charge dp, and what's the best part? Even if leo gets baited that gorila has so much hp that it doesn't even matter he may as well be wrong 3 times in a row but the one time he is right he is coming back thanks to the ridiculous damage. Obviously sol, nago and goldlewis exist but leo is totally the most blatant degenerate of the game at the moment next to Goldlewis. Charge defending dp and side to side mixup while being a top hp and top damage. That's just nonsense.
