I’ve struggled with depression and anxiety ever since 2003, the same year I became a knicks fan.... coincidence?? I think not. PSA : About 3 years ago I vowed to never root for the Knicks until they had a better owner and I feel much better 😁

Knicks are the equivalent to the Maple Leafs (NHL) and Cowboys (NFL). No matter how many disappointing seasons they have, the fans will still pay to see their team, stopping the owner from doing anything crazy because in the end they still make lots of money.

I literally hate how the media keeps spinning these stories and we all fall for it. The Knicks dreamed of getting KD well so did half the league. The Knicks missed out because we have no young talent and coaches who can't develop talent. Fizdale had to go because he couldn't get them on the same page and showed favoritism towards the vets when he suppose to develop the rookies

Silver will do nothing about it... believe it or not the situation with the Knicks is actually veeeeery good business for the NBA right now!!! Look at all the small, low budget franchises that have been generating really good revenue for the league outside of the massive revenue the league gets from NY, even while they are horrendous. It's better to have FAN FAITH across multiple smaller market locales then putting too many eggs in one basket. Unfortunately, win or lose, the Knicks franchise continues to be a bright green flow of money for the league.

MLSE (Raptors ownership) will match & top anything Knicks offer Masai + he already has history & a great relationship with ownership, the city/country, & Prime Minister. I'd argue Brian's assertion that there's nothing left for Masai to do in Toronto, and say there's still so much left to do. Like lure a top superstar to sign a longterm deal with the Raptors & end the stigma of not being able to.

There is actually quite a bit Masai can achieve in Toronto because when the Raptors won the chip even though Masai made the trade people were saying it was all because of Kawhi, Kawhi this and Kawhi that. For Masai it would be like alright I’ll show you it wasn’t just Kawhi it was me mainly, watch me I’ll do it again, win again in Toronto. Another thing is Toronto has developed there stars, traded for stars, gotten stars to stay and resign like Lowry and Derozan and most of them left except those two but one thing that hasn’t been done for Masai and Toronto is an actual big signing in free agency where somebody joins, clearly the Raptors are trying to get Giannis in 2021 and if Masai pulls that off him and the Raptors could be looking at a couple more chips down the line

Knicks' plan for 20 years has been "We're going to land a big free agent!" Who did they get? Melo. Which resulted in winning 1 playoff series. Epic fail is an understatement. And the media so badly want the Knicks to be good. Because all they care about is big markets on the east and west coasts.

Nobody wants to go and play half their season in that old arena. It’s MSG so they want to go there & show out but just the 1x a yr. is perfect and actually makes it more meaningful to the players coming in but they’re not trying to sign with The Knicks and have to be stuck in those old small locker rooms & old small training facilities, especially when there’s A brand new state of the art arena just over the Brooklyn Bridge.

These people are supposed to be reporters. With the most minimal investigative chops here's what you could find out about Masai. He's already done everything he wanted to do in basketball. His goals and horizons are much greater than that. With his Toronto job he has built it so that it runs on autopilot. Allowing him all the time that he wants for his larger pursuits. The New York job by contrast would be a 24/7 job where he would have to hire and train an entirely new staff. And for what? So that he could get to the playoffs? Been there. So that he could win a ring? Been there. Meanwhile his greater goals would have to be essentially shelved until all the rest of it was finally where it already is in Toronto. As I say. Reporters? Not so much.

I'm a knicks fan and we all understand that fiz didn't get dealt a good hand, but if you watch every game like we do you see fiz's flaws as a coach and they're the same he had in Memphis if you go back and look at why he got fired in Memphis it the same reasons.
