We the netherlands were the same. No team chemistry in 2012. We have a documentary(dutch) about it how it went from top to flop. And since you dont know the results of the dutch before this 2012 tournament: we lost all our preperation games even against bulgaria in our own home and lost to germany 3-0. So when the tournament started it was an already dieing dutch side. When we faced portugal we needed to win with 2 goal difference, so the spaces were huge while portugal could lay back. This dutch side is an insult to us. The 2014 team is totally diffirent but for 3 players, robben van persie and sneijder were the only ones that returned and they are the best we had. Portugal was brilliant that tournament, i hoped they won it in 2012 with good football, too bad the ugliest performance in 2016 got rewarded instead. But this dutch team was not good. That's definitely the weakest Portuguese team I can remember... and to think that if they had won the penalties against Spain (they were all over them in extra time) this tam would have reached the final with Postiga, Veloso, Pereira, Ruben Micael, Hugo Almeida, Nélson Oliveira, etc. It would probably be the greatest achievement in Cris's career.

Benzema literally played for CR7, he gave his goalscoring side for playing with Ronaldo. Look at him now, without CR7 he can be who he really is, a complete 9 who scores a lot of goals.

A mi parecer los mundiales de los años 2000 fueron decepcionantes. De los que he visto, el 98 y el 2014 me parecieron los mejores, el 2018 en tercer lugar. De las Euros, la que más disfruté es la del 2008. La Champions nunca decepciona. En Sudamérica, creo que las mejores copas Libertadores se dieron en los 90s. En los 2000 igual hubieron buenas copas, pero entre 2013 y 2015 hubo cierto bajón.
