More like 2008-2011 In euro 2012 we got knocked out in the quarter finals to Spain who won that euro cup. Then in World cup 2014 we got knocked out in the quarter finals to Germany who won that one. But funny enough in our next tournament euro 2016 we lost to Portugal who won that one But 2008 and 2010 were surly our worst tournaments in recent times

What a game... just absolutely brilliant. It ended 4-1 and the Dutch played extremely well, but France also played their part and could well have equalised at points of the match. Coupet was really poor, Thuram and Gallas didn't seem to communicate particularly well. Counter attacking was a massive part of the Dutch team that tournament, I believe Russia stifled them in the quarter-finals, outplayed them too. For France, it was the beginning of the end... we all know what happened in South Africa. Robben and Van Persie, what great substitutes to bring on!
