Have I ever mentioned how much I love Luke Skywalker????? like asdjkalsfjsadfhasjdfsdafhdSLKF can i just marry him or something
I was trying to go for Luke by himself in the not so happy bits and then him with his friends in the chorus :)
I pitched the music so hopefully it can be viewed everywhere.
So I'm pretty sure I fried my brain last night making this. I hardly ever edit anything over a minute and a half and this is like... 3:30 and I did all of it yesterday afternoon/night o.o
You guys know I love dark!luke but cinnamon roll luke is just as good. And this is the first ever proper video I've made of him. All of the other ones have been dark!aus lmao
This is really simple and idk if I like it but I finished it sooo it's going on my channel.

I think Luke's story is an inspiration to all, once a boy who grew up like normal, and then rose to the occasion. Which can be all of us, all though we may be normal at the moment we can all be Legendary.

This is absolutely beautiful; it just shows everything Luke's gone through, but also that he stands tallest when he knows his friends are at his side. Honestly, this is just gorgeous and fantastic and amazing.

When I was a child, I always wondered why Luke ended up wearing black robes in Return of the Jedi. I always associated that color of a robe as being associated with the dark side of the force. Later in life I realized something about possibly why Anakin Skywalker turned to the Dark Side. One must learn the Ways of the Dark side in order to wield the Power of the Light Side. The trick is to treat it like a dance. Tension, relax, tension, relax. Learning to Master all Frequencies of Force Energy without letting it consume or control you. Figuring out which frequencies we were individually born with, and that energy becomes our purpose. At least, that is my perspective and what your pieces of artistry just inspired me to share with everyone. Great work. 😇🥰

I'm 22 and a film grad and I never saw Star Wars until last week and I'm so disappointed I didn't watch it sooner! Luke is my favourite and this tribute is amazing! Happy to be a Star Wars fan finally! Well done!

I love this! No one really talks about the melancholy side of Luke, he can't always be sunbeams and positivity, but he brings that to the galaxy! I love him, the song choice and you're editing talents are just perfect. Thank you for making this!

Wow, this is beautiful. What an utter disservice Disney did everyone. That crap will never be Star Wars, Luke and the rest of the Skywalkers (and I mean actual Skywalkers) are the heart and soul of Star Wars. It's disgusting they kept Han, Luke and Leia from having a reunion, at least. I can't believe there wasn't more uproar about that. Gosh. I'm actually crying. This song is so inspirational and bringing it to Luke's story is just brilliant. His friends are his family and the people who anchor him in the midst of all the confusion he goes through in his life. UghHH I love him so much! Powerful vid. I even married a guy believe me or not, called "Marcos" which means Mark in portuguse, with dark blonde hair and blue eyes, skinni and not tall O.O...Our marriage last for 18 years now he passed away, can you think how hard was for me to see Luke dies, it was almost as loosing Marcos twice...And yes he was a Luke alike cosplayer, as me as Mara Jade

this video reminds me of the amazing chemistry between Mark, Carrie and Harrison....and how much of an opportunity was wasted when the Disney sequels didn't bother reuniting all 3 of them in even one scene. And now it's something that will never happen since we lost Carrie. It's only one reason for my dislike of the sequels. One of many. Rest in Peace, Princess. I just wanted to say how beautiful and poignant I found this video. I don't comment on fan videos as much as I should but I felt this deserved it. Earlier today my mom and i were looking for some Luke tribute videos because we are both such big fans of him and we watched a couple before this one, some were adequate or decent, maybe one was vaguely awful but they tried and then we watched this one and wow, it hit the spot. You did such an excellent job with your editing! Neither of us had ever heard the song before but it's an excellent choice before and now I'm gonna have to look it up. You had excellent pacing and I loved the contrast between the verses and the chorus. This video did an stupendous job at capturing not only Luke's struggles and his journey as a whole but also the strength and importance of his relationship to his friends. I was just incredibly moved. I decided to rewatch it just now as its been a few hours and this time i turned off my lights and watched it full screen on my laptop and honestly, I cried. That may have something to do with my love of Luke Skywalker but I'm going to give you and your skillful editing some of the credit. Marvelous job. I especially like, that though you weaved around chronologically throughout the video that the first shot was of Luke alone on Tattooine and the last shot was of him happy at the celebration on Endor. That was just such a nice touch for your theme. Okay, I'm done rambling! thank you for this video, it served as a just tribute.

Even after all these years I keep coming back to this edit. I love it so much! Luke is my favorite Star Wars character and I love how you highlighted his virtues. Where is 3:03 from? It's obviously footage from ROTJ, but I don't think it's from the actual movie...? This is absolutely amazing! I adore this video (and this song, which I found on this video, so thank you for introducing me to it!) I love all your videos, Dark!Luke and cinnamon roll Luke too. :) Beautifully simple editing on this one. Sometimes that's all you need and too many effects can drown the feels. This is perfection!

I'm in love! This video... Gods! I'm speechless because of the beauty of it all. The edition is flawless and full of emotion. I can only smile like a fool because it takes me back to my childhood, and how I used to look at Luke, loving that light in his eyes but also seeing his struggle.
