Was für eine wunderbare Erinnerung an die späten 70er! 'Dreams' aus dem Album 'Rumors'. Ich weiß nicht mehr, wie oft ich dieses Album und diesen Titel gehört habe! Dreams ist ganz sicher einer meiner Favoriten von FM. Im Original gesungen von Stevie Nicks mit ihrer unglaublich prägnanten und fast charismatischen Stimme. Sie war damals die 'Stimme' von FM. Ich erinnere mich, dass das Album unter ungewöhnlichen Umständen entstanden ist. Fast alle Bandmitglieder hatten Probleme mit ihren Beziehungen. Trotzdem wurde Rumor ein absoluter Klassiker und gehört zweifelsfrei zur Musikgeschichte. Aber zum Cover von Chiara: Wunderbare, himmlische Stimme die wir hier hören! Einschmeichelnd, warm, dabei fest und voller Energie! Ganz nah am Original, aber im typischen Chiara-Stil ohne das original zu missachten. Bravo Chiara, alle Achtung! Und was sehen wir noch? Eine Chiara, die wieder einmal alle Musikinstrumente selbst spielt und das in Perfektion! Da kommt leichter Neid auf bei einem, der nie gelernt hat ein Instrument zu spielen und es wohl auch nie lernen wird, trotz einiger Versuche. Wunderschönes Cover eines ebenso wunderschönen Songs! Und ich erlaube mir zu 'verraten' dass Chiara dieses Cover an einem einzigen Tag alleine aufgenommen und geschnitten hat! Was für eine unglaubliche Arbeit und Leistung! 👍👏

I just saw "You've Got a Friend" with Emily and decided that I had to find out more about your singing. Ach, immer wieder schön zu erleben, wenn jemand so voller Talent und Musikalität ist. Wenn Du sagst, an den Drums "nur" Basics - die muss man ja auch erstmal zum grooven bringen - gelungen. Über die Stimme muss man sich ja inzwischen gar nicht mehr auslassen. Das ganze dann auch noch hübsch abgemischt - toll. Nach drei mal im Vergleich anhören, mag ich das Cover lieber als das Original - ehrlich.

I count electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, keyboard, drums lead vocals, and at least one backing vocal (but probably more)! I think some more guitar layered in there as well, and the end result is spectacular, and compares very favourably with the original! Great work, young lady!
