Not really. Techno is as competitive if not more so than Dream, I don't see Dream farming potatoes for a year if you know what I mean. The thing is, Dream shows it when he's comfortable with his friends like this time, as Techno did when he played with the SBI. Put either of them with a team where they're not as comfortable and they will act way more chill but competitive inside.

They were so toxic but they were so happy in the end and not even a small bit of smack talk would ruin their wholesome relationship.

They were stress so it's understandable, so many people are watching them.

It's not even that toxic lmao, like dream said they know eo for ten years so it's okay for them to insult eo. I also have a friend who's with me for so long and we both insult eo way more brutal and hurtful that what they did. Just that people nowadays are so sensitive with everything that even if they're not the one who's some is talking too they are gonna get hurt

Outside looking in it might seem bad, but having a few friends who banter like this, I think I can weigh in a bit. From what I could tell, it seems like they were using the "toxic" comments as a tongue-in-cheek way of saying they were fine. If I had to guess, any of them staying silent through that would have spoken volumes more than the banter going on during the round. That being said, it's a tricky thing to navigate in larger groups, as individual people in the group can easily be drowned out by the rest. But that's where the comment about them knowing each-other for years is important, as you generally tend to know each-other's comfort levels. And immediately after that game ended and the next began, no grudges were held, and they swung right back to working well as a team. Definitely don't go into friendships expecting or planning to start banter though. It's important to be aware of tolerances first, and understanding that even different people in the same friend group might have significantly lower tolerances is extremely important to keep in mind. (I personally have the highest tolerance in my own groups, but quite a few of my friends have significantly lower, so if I can tell they're hitting a boiling point I start spinning their banter into self-deprecating humor to cool things off)
