I don't think it meant Maurice was never on king Julien's side, but that by that point he was so tired of king Julien's absurdity and shenanigans that he was kinda happy that he might be gone and not have to deal with him anymore, All hail King Julien kinda backs it up.

He should be at the end of Grey in all honesty especially in Shrek ,4D because he DOES help kidnap Fiona but is apologetic and clearly didn't really want to hurt her or Shrek. I think he saves them too at the very end

the only difference between Maurice and Thelonious is that Thelonious is sympathetic and a bit of a nice guy doing terrible tasks that’s ordered by Lord Farquad, whereas Maurice secretly hates King Julien and concerned about him at the same time. So I’ll put Maurice in the evil tier, while Thelonious is in the mediocre tier.

Then the second Shrek sidekick got his own Donkey in the form of Perrito, the crazy yet supportive little doggo who follows Puss just cause he wants to make people happy. He didn't even need the star to make his wish come true, and he knew it from the start. I was almost expecting him to betray Puss (blame Kirby for that) but I guess not; he's just the best. He sure made me smile from his fun personality! He's capable of being a potty mouth, as shown when he roasts the Goldi Gang, but he had to be encouraged to do so.

@Geek Lord No he's not; as WickedBinge put it in their Nicktoon fathers video: being incompetent doesn't make you malicious. Patrick is a nice enough guy, his stupidity and gluttony just tend to get the best of him. And in the movies, he saves Mr. Krabs' life, saves the Krabby Patty formula from Burger-beard, and helps SpongeBob save Gary from King Poseidon. Patrick should be in the lower end of the list, but by no means is he evil; he's just extremely flawed.

@@PrincessMavenKittyDarkholme Not really. Her heroics are usually for entirely self-serving purposes, such as in Bloaty's Pizza Hog. The only major heroic deed she has is in Enter the Florpus, where she helps save Earth when one of Zim's plans actually works.
