Both of these endings made me realize what was going on. The message bottles are about the MC going mad and throwing his wife overboard. This means in the good ending you are no longer bound to the old god and in his impotent rage has you eaten by a fish because it means he will remain sealed.

This was so GOOD, honestly never saw a more satisfying eldritch game ending about summoning an old god, the whole being a lil ship always pursued by big monsters makes it all the more satisfying to see a gigantic Cthulu emerging from the seas that surpassed everything seen before. I guess the good ending is kind of a "yeah you know what, you stopped me from releasing upon this world but my influence is still right there, get eaten by godzilla you punk" I do wonder if there are more secrets or hidden lore or if thats it. Last note, I kinda digged the twist, for a very common twist I must say it fooled me long enough, even when the madman was telling you to throw the book I actually assumed he mistook you for the collector.

Thanks for playing this through! I was so excited over it. Some feedback: it’s hard to know the storyline if you don’t read through the messages (look like you did but you didn’t include it in the video). There’s also several times in the game when the next step is right in the dialogue and because you just keep skipping through them, you then become confused. Eg. With the mind suckers, it states clearly and in a different color to give it to the airman as proof. He said it several times too. These points make the whole video less satisfying to watch and a little frustrating. It makes me as a viewer feel you didn’t want to play the game and was just trudging through it.

The not realizing of other rods for dual purpose killed me in the first 2 hours😂

honestly my guy. the video was amazing. and the amount of people commenting on YOUR video saying how THEY dont like how YOU did this or that again on YOUR video is insane. like you did nothing wrong but do as the title stated. "full game playthrough (good and bad ending all relics)" and thats Literally what you provided lmfaooo. im glad you enjoyed the game and the ending with Cthulhu was sick asf. i do wish they did add a bit more quest or events in the game but that is just my opinion. thank you for the content!!

-spoiler warning- when i got the game i actually managed to get the good ending. it started after i was done with the twisting strands quest, i had fully maxed out the hull and and engine spaces, so i was working on getting 4 more fishing spaces. as you might now it costs 2 scrap, 3 fabric and 3 lumber. My favorite place to get these materials are the cliffs, so while i collectedthe stuff i noticed that the little camping space had a lit campfire. I ofcourse went to check on it and there was the little marrow major just sitting. After reading about the book i went to the collector but didnt get any new text. Next i went to the light house lady and asked her what she knew about the book, after she told me i went back to the collector and punced him in the face, took the book and left. I showed the light house keeper the book and she told me to go at the middle of the night at a spesific location. I went there and threw the book and got eaten by a giant fish, wich looks alot like the one at the cliffs but has 2 eyes instead of 1. Thank you for comming to my ted talk

none of the endings felt satisfactory to me.. i believe this game is missing smth.... some more mechanics, and much more of everything else: quests, biomes to explore, events at open sea... it's not a bad game at all, but it could have been so much better... a pitty

I'm like half way thru this. Lol (I forget how to time stamp). 2hrs 30 minutes... But I've pulled out all my hair and still don't understand yout chaotic gameplay. It seems like. In a "fishing horror" game you have spent a literal 1 second reading what the better fishing rods do. And have spent the whole "2 and a half hours" so far play dumb. And idk if your trying to present your self as this dense. But dang. Like one of the 1st Comment mentioned how this video is gonna get views just cuz its a fuller length walk-through and that comment is #1. I mistaken downloaded your walk-through so I could watch it offline while working. And it's been a disappointment. To be honest. I randomly watched a 30 minute video the other day and it made me search out a walk-through. And I landed here. Ewww And then the other comment that was a bit timid. Is 100% correct aswell. There's no personality here. Like. You literally at one point go. "Ima go farm scrap I might edit it out" then come back "I died lol" Dude. You dying is content. Like just edit in like. "Oh no I messed up" and show you getting killed. Lol its a fishing horror Sim. And half way thru you edited out (horribly) the good part. Spent almost on hour with 2 shallow rods and didn't even understand the concept. Lik3. 🤦‍♂️

And the best part is. It's 6 hour video. With " the bad/good ending" That why you got clicked. No one know the prior 4-5 hours were gonna be deauville scheisse. *spits*

I’m usually the type of person who “will shut up if I had nothing nice to say”, so I’ll put this in the most gentle way as possible; The (probably) only reason why a lot of people watch this video is because this is one of the complete walk through of the game. You’re allow to be dense, yes, but the amount of time you go “how could I fucked up lol” is almost hair pulling tbh. I believed I’m not the only one who are screaming through my screen “JUST SLEEP, AND YOUR CONTROLS WILL BE BACK”, as even the NPCs are telling you to sleep, or “Lord please the fishes are rotting pls sell them”, as I watch the fish rots away. My advise as a viewer? You actually don’t need to stop being you, but work on your editing (since this is a pre-recorded video) Instead of just narrating, you could add on some caption like “yup the fish is rotting, I’m fucked” to make it more interesting, or even zoom in to the “rotting” caption to show your audience that “oh boy here we go again” You can refer to Mark/Jack’s editing, as I did realised they too fucked up as much as you did (if not more), but their videos are entertaining to watch. Another example would be SuperHorrorBros which when they fucked up, they interact with their audience (“oh shit guys I didn’t see that!” “Guys that was creepy af”), and they pay attention to the lore.
