At 76 I can’t help but reflect on how different my life would have been with this knowledge. I hope young people are sitting up and paying very close attention. I have lived with all of these symptoms my whole life and it wasn’t fun. Thank you Dr. Berg. At least I have a better understanding of unseen influences that were directing my development and choices. 🇨🇦❤️

@@myjourney703 : It does, but not everybody makes vitamin D in their skin equally. So, a redhead (with very light skin) has fewer layers of skin to contain melanin, and less melanin in each layer,so that the sunlight’s uv rays penetrate more easily and more vitamin D is made in a shorter amount of time. Her best friend goes outside and spends as much time doing the same activities with her, with darker skin tends to have more layers of skin, and each layer has more pigment in it, which filters out the sunlight. So unlike her redheaded body, the dark skinned friend makes far less vitamin D, but for her there’s an upside to the darker skin leading less uv in: She’s far less likely to end up with malignant melanoma. So the redheaded buddy ends up having to wear more sunscreen, and the dark skinned friend could benefit from vitamin D3 supplements. That’s important to know, especially if you have very dark skin.

Vitamin D helped me overcome a 22 year history of colitis! 10 months ago I saw Dr Berg's videos on vitamin D and autoimmune diseases. I started following his protocol and within days my symptoms were getting better!! 3 months ago I was deprescribed from my colitis medicine. Two days ago I had a follow-up colonoscopy which revealed no inflammation!! Along the way I lost 45 lbs, and was deprescribed from 2 blood pressure medications. I thank you!!

Following Dr. Berg's guidance, it is recommended to take 100 mcg of vitamin K2 for every 10,000 IU of vitamin D3. Years ago I had Vitamin D deficiency where my levels were low 5. I was so sick that I was in and out of the emergency room for 6 months. I saw 20 different doctors that performed so many test trying to find out why I had so many severe symptoms all together. Every test came back negative except my Vitamin D level. Out of the 20 doctors that saw me only 1 doctor told me to take Vitamin D3. Once I started taking Vitamin D3 all of my symptoms were gone and my health improved. Vitamin D is a miracle hormone. 1. Heart palpitations and arrhythmias 2. Painful legs like I was beaten with a baseball bat 3. Brain fog 4. Depression 5. Panic attacks 6. Bronchitis 7. Skin disorders (psoriasis/eczema) 8. Sinus issues 9. Advance sleep disorder where my circadian rhythm made me fall asleep at 3pm everyday., 10. Bone pain 11. Acid reflux 12. Lethargy 13. I suffer from Graves disease and went on 5000IU's a day 1,5 years ago. After one month the depression let off and I had been depressed since the age of three! Then symptom after symptom let go and after 1,3 years I felt reborn! Never in my life had I felt so great so I took down the fose of vitamin D to 2000 a day since a doctor had told me my level on 214 was too high and dangerous. Bad move, I quickly went down again with fatigue and just days ago the depression came back although not as bad as before. I had bloodtests and despite all my symptoms of another graves episode, my thyroid levels were fine however my vitamin D levels had gone down to 119. Im now back on 5000 and will NEVER lower it again! The difference is like between life and death for me if I go under 5000.

My son has schizophrenia. Watching Dr. Ber has had his symptoms down 50%. He had high blood pressure, no more. He had a kidney stone one inch in size but due to diet, it is the size of the tip of a pen. He lost 20 pounds by default, not trying. This is because we implemented much of what he taught and my research trying to understand what schizophrenics lack, Dr. Berg shows me where and how to get that vitamin, mineral, or whatever it is. I had major anxiety again and forgot about dr. Bergs videos and just last night, I slept for 4 hrs straight. I've not slept well for a week so I know I will go back to it.

Sharing Dr Berg notes: Having low vitamin D can affect the body in a myriad of ways-it’s important to avoid becoming deficient in vitamin D. Keep in mind that any time you take vitamin D, you should also take vitamin K2. The ratio should be 100 mcg of vitamin K2 for every 10,000 IU of vitamin D3. Being vitamin D deficient is commonly associated with symptoms like: • Bone loss • Bone pain • Low immunity • Depression • High blood pressure • Inflammation • Asthma • Poor sleep Surprising signs of vitamin D deficiency: 1. Nightmares 2. Restless leg syndrome 3. Acne 4. Bipolar disorder 5. Skipped heartbeats 6. Breathing disorders 7. Psoriasis and eczema 8. Sinus issues 9. Hay fever 10. Rapid breathing in infants 11. Recurrent tonsillitis in children 12. Structural development problems in children 13. Long COVID 14. Early puberty 15. Uterine fibroids 16. Irregular menstrual cycles 17. Longer menstrual cycles 18. Urinary incontinence 19. Vertigo 20. Sarcopenia 21. Myopia 22. Glaucoma 23. Erectile dysfunction Thank You Dr Berg! 🐱👍🏿

It's actually terrible because Dr Berg has got Vitamin D wrong completely here. Vitamin D deficiency is actually an indicator of a Magnesium deficiency. Taking more vitamin D will actually make the Magnesium deficiency worse so can't meaningfully increase vitamin D levels. It's Dr Berg's lack of understanding on this matter that has him recommending super doses of vitamin D but this could actually be damaging people's health. Most of the symptoms in the video are directly related to a Magnesium deficiency not a Vitamin D deficiency, it just seems like it's vitamin D because low magnesium causes low vitamin D. The fix is to first fix your magnesium deficiency. Any Vitamin D video that doesn't focus on Magnesium is potentially harmful and not in the interest of optimal health.

Since end of january i tried to follow your tipps as close as possible, and also forced my kids to eat healthy stuff, such as scrambled eggs or paprika, because they refuesd to eat those things since infancy and also threw up, caused by not being used to it, being forced and not getting their will. Now they eat it regulary. Still with a slight distaste, but they accept it now. Parkinson’s Disease has signs of vitamin D depletion, no vitamin D. Also, sugar depletes vitamin D. Thank you Dr. Berg.

@@SuraDoes Same here. Getting out in the sun seems to help, and I'm not sure water hardness isn't a factor in my case. It's off the charts here. Reverse Osmosis water is definitely on the list of things that cause vitamin D deficiency, so not a stretch to think that hard water couldn't affect it in some way. Maybe dr. Berg could expound.

My doctor wants to give a small dose of something for “the bipolar” as she always says. Yet my red blood count is low and hemeglobin and she refuses to check my vitamin d. She also laughed when I mentioned long covid. 😢 I’ve dealt with covid while pregnant, alopecia and feeling dizzy everyday and she says it’s the anxiety/bipolar. My mood is actually great for once but it’s my body. She again thinks I’m crazy. Imagine some people who are mentally ill just have deficiencies. 😖

After taking VD for an extended period of time the skin on my fingers would wear away like a pair of work gloves. I reduced the amount of VD and it went away. A Dr👨‍⚕ advised me to take Magnesium, D3, Vitamin K2-MK7(100mcg for every 10,000iu D3) & B6-P5P(activated-pyridoxal-5-phosphate) at the same time. ➡One important function & benefit of Vitamin D3 is that it helps the body absorb Calcium which in turn plays a part in how the body absorbs Magnesium. The levels of Vitamin B6-P5P in the body determines how much Magnesium will be absorbed into the cells. Vitamin D3 ensures calcium is absorbed easily & Vitamin K2-MK7 activates the protein, osteocalcin, which integrates Calcium into bone. Without D3 & K2, Calcium can not do its job effectively. Vitamin K2-MK7 activates matrix GLA protein (MGP) to bind excess Calcium & promote arterial flow & flexibility. ➡D3 is fat soluble so the Dr said to take all these with a meal because they'll absorb better.....

Also what we need to keep in mind there are certain predicaments that make us absorb less of the D3 then the rest. Things like age, the older we get the less we absorb, being overweight, having darker skin as in absorption from the sun as dark skinned folks have natural protection but also absorb way less of the D3. All those will influence how much D3 we need. From what i read in these comments on D3 on YT people have this fear they are taking too much and end up not taking enough. Doctors are sometimes to blame as the medical industry sets very low guidelines of how much we need to take. 85+ levels are needed to fight any illness successfully. I have read books about just D3 vitamin and suggest for people to really inform themselves and don’t wait for your doctor to tell you as these doctors were not trained to prescribe vitamins. They go by the guidelines they were given which are super low. Don’t forget the big Pharma don’t want to see you healthy. The sooner you accept that the better for you.
