I love how it turned out!! I am dying to figure out how to add pockets to add pockets on my favorite dresses so I had to rewatch how you did the pockets a few times!

I should've gone slower for that! I've never added pockets to an existing dress, but I don't think it'd be hard! I wish I was closer so we could do a craft day!

Its beautiful and yes thrifted sheetscand duvets are wonderful to repurpose in this way .One thing I've found essential is to iron your fabric before you place your pattern..it can alter the size . Wrinkles can take up a few milimeteres and although this dresss is loose, it can certainly alter the fit of a fitted garment . Same with ironing seams as you go. It makes a big difference. Keep on sewing 😊

I enjoyed your video and loved the dress, but please turn up your volume somehow - both my computer and youtube settings are at 100% but I can barely hear you. I just found some thrifted sheets in my fabric pile, and have been wanting to make a lounging kind of dress/nightgown so this gives me ideas! Thanks for sharing!
