I was there tonight and all I can say is hats off to the Tar Heels. Hubert is cementing an incredible foundation for the future. My heart goes out to Armando Bacot and Cormac Ryan who know this was there final college game. Helluva performance. Bacot was an absolute Tar Heel. It was an honor to watch this Tar Heel team tonight. Keep your heads high Heels, learn from this, the better team lost, but the future is bright.

Trimble is boutta level up this summer. He improved so much this year and will only get better

I think I can speak for many UNC fans: We're disappointed and know it's tough to lose and to end this team's togetherness, but hold your heads high, Tar Heels. It was a great season, and we're proud of every individual and this team----its spirit, its loyalty, and its future impact on Carolina basketball!

Couldn't be prouder of my Heels this season. Disappointed like everyone at the outcome, but this specific team had so much HEART, the true fans wanted it even more for the players than we did for ourselves. Heck, as a true fan, we won when we beat Duke multiple times this season! Thank you RJ (one of my favorite Carolina players of all time) - we wouldn't have gotten this far without you. Thank you, Armando, for bleeding Carolina blue for five wonderful years. Thank you to our transfers - wow! Is anyone more classy than Cormac Ryan or more dynamic than Harrison Ingram? And Elliott Cadeau, can't wait to see how great you are going to be, because I think you barely scratched the surface with your talent! And thank you to the guys who gave such amazing minutes this year, who will undoubtedly be even bigger starts next year. Please don't go anywhere in the portal! True fans love you when you win, but catch you when you fall, and will be there to cheer you on next year. Thank you to Coach Davis and the awesome assistant coaches. Double "hats off to the Tar Heels. Davis is cementing himself as a coach, following in line with those who came before him. There were times this season when the players did not have or show that "killer" instinct / mentality to put teams away. No way you punch, punch and counter punch and not have the ability to take one and not recover. Go Heels, love and learn

Preseason 19 Id say this team did well

While I'm not a fan of what NIL is doing, these guys earn it having to answer stupid questions like, "how are you feeling right now." Tarheels for life; thanks for the body of work fellas', K sent into reitrement, National Championship appearance, the annual NCSU beat down, and we beat Flopsalotowski and Duke twice this year, along with a regular season championship! Job well done!

I find solace in knowing that no one can beat UConn anyway...a waste of time for all the teams that is and was left !!!

It was utterly baffling how you bench EC. The offense looked terrible. No motion, no plays ran. The offense flows through EC. What they were doing obviously wasn’t working. The most frustrating thing is they didn’t win that game. That team is very beatable. We played our worst half ever. A historically bad half and we were still right there at the end. Despite the questionable coaching decisions if RJ has a mediocre day we win.

I think they have problems with teams that get physical with them.

To have veterans on this team it was surprising/ disappointing to not close them out with the lead late.

The Tar Heels could not sustain game dominance. Season over!

2 bad plays in a row by JWhit and it was a rap. There was no chance winning the game after those 2 back to back plays with a minute or less left in the game. When you look on the court and 2 non starters are in the game in crunch time late, it was inevitable on the outcome.
