I saw this segment this morning and made a mental note to look up the recipe. Nothing better than grilled cheese and soup 😊

This morning, I had grilled cheese for breakfast. I used garlic bread spread for the outside, crispy bacon and Swiss cheese for the inside and it was awesome!! Next time, I will try it with the carmelized onions because it sounds delicious!!

Just wanted to pop back on here to let everyone know who is reading this that I saw this episode and ran out to my local Walmart and was able to buy everything in this recipe and make it on a really good bread too and it was YUMMY!!! I loved it! My kids loved the "regular" grilled cheese dipped into this recipes tomato soup and I felt really good about them not eating another can of soup.... It's healthier and tastes awesome!!! Thanks Drew and Pilar for another great recipe!!!

@ 04:50 My nephew was out with a guy he was dating. Nephew ordered a bowl of tomato soup & grilled cheese sandwich. When it arrived he dipped the sandwich into the soup and had a bite. Guy says: It's over; I couldn't possibly date anyone who dips their grilled cheese sandwich into tomato soup. I say my nephew dogged a bullet on that one. Amen.

Try BBQ GRILLED CHEESE sandwich. BBQ pulled pork with Colby jack cheese and sharp cheddar with caramelized unions. For an extra touch use brioche bread and a little bit of butter and two pinches of garlic powder heat it up then baste the bread then toast it for a fuller flavor profile.

Using Mayo instead of butter on the outside of the bread is the real secret 🤫

I make my grilled cheese 🥪 with shredded sharp cheddar cheese 🧀 and I dip that in 🍯 it's so good.

She’s absolutely incorrect about spreading butter on the bread. The way she suggest make the sandwich way too dry.

I seriously doubt Pilar would EVER eat American cheese let alone Campbell's soup. Such fake liars.
