The G.O.A.T.🐏!

It was an honor to watch this man ball out every Football season that he was a Saint. I used to go to the bar and watch other fans of other teams marvel at how good Brees was at the time. He'd go like 31-34 for 356 yards and 4 TDs by the 3rd quarter and be sitting by the 4th quarter. It was clockwork. He was a machine out there. On Sundays, I would watch him and Peyton Manning and just shake my head. The Saints were an awesome team back then. Although Aaron Brooks/Jim Haslet's offense was a lot of fun to watch with Horn and Deuuuuce, they didn't have the consistency of a Brees/Peyton offense. In my lifetime, I have seen the Saints' best DEFENSE (Dome Patrol) and best offense. Back in 2008-2009, when there was a BLACK president in office and the Damn Arizona Cardinals were in the Super Bowl, I joked that the Saints were going to be a problem the next season (coming off Brees almost breaking Marino's record). Even though I thought the Vikings were the better team, and the Saints got some VERY LUCKY breaks in that championship game, it was one of the coolest moments ever for me to watch the field goal through the uprights for the win. Hopefully, he gets that FIRST BALLOT HOF treatment when he is eligible. Brees definitely deserves it.
