I was detained at the White House by the Secret Service because I had a warrant for failure to appear in traffic court; they ended up releasing me because of how minor it was and I was still able to go on the tour. I turned myself in when I got back home to Colorado and everything was dropped, but at least I’ve got a funny story to tell.

Middle of Montana you can get up to some crazy speeds but when you get caught you get caught.

When in Air Force, I was called to the Office of special Investigations, the OSI, Air Forces version of the FBI. I'm like "Oh shit, I'm done now", as I was involved in some things I wont mention here. I suck it up, go see them....and they say I need to pay a parking ticket I got at the beach like a year prior. I was so relieved! But also disturbed over how seriously they take their parking tickets in N.J.

How do MT police have an arrest warrant out for a guy from FL w/o insurance? They just monitor some database of active drivers with no insurance in case they ever happen to pass through MT?

They put his name in a computer, and it comes back saying he doesn't have valid insurance. His wife must have had her own? They let her drive. Yeah, a bit suspicious but not entirely unbelievable.

no, there's a database of all issued warrants and police check names against that list when they encounter civilians.
