He is a native English speaker. Which means he speaks a language in which there is no logical connection between phonemes and letters at all. It is pretty much a Wheel of Fortune spin every time they try to pronounce any written letter. So when they encounter a different language that actually HAS some rules, hilarity ensues.

@@CzechMircoHe pronounced it correctly phonetically: [ij]. In Dutch it's pronounced [ɛi]. The Dutch are the ones with weird phonetic rules, not Drew. Most English speakers would pronounce it [aɪ].
