it's interesting to see how people nowadays say that her original features were beautiful (and i agree) but i remember gaga being heavily scrutinized by the media and people calling her "ugly" for many years for her strong italian facial features. i still think lady gaga is beautiful, her confidence makes her even more attractive.

To be fair, Lady Gaga sometimes uses a tape technique to snatch her face, similar to what drag queens do, that gives this facelift effect (hence no scar evidence) and is totally covered by the wig.

She looks so much better without lip fillers. But over all I think she looks great. She looked so pretty and natural in a Star is Born so it’s great that she didn’t go too far and can look more natural when she wants.

About the face lift part: Lady Gaga has explained in interviews that she uses face tape under her wigs. This essentially pulls her skin back both at the brow level and around her cheeks so it looks like a face lift but likely it is not 😄

She didn’t need the work she was alluring and unique without it.

You seem to confuse her use of face tape for face lift procedures. For red carpet events she often alters the shape of her eyes and tightens the upper half of her face by taping elastic bands from temple to temple, covered by a wig. This gives her more of a cat eye. She doesn't hide she uses this trick, there's plenty of backstage pictures and video that show it. Just wanted to let you know.

It's nice that someone explain those surgery's. So many stars got them through out the years and that not every celeb is looking so perfect in natural appearance.

She has changed a lot through the years, but, oddly, one thing has stayed the same: she consistently looked 30. She's looked to be about 30 since the age of 13. She just has one of those faces

I saw Lady Gaga live when she did a show case in a small club in Germany in 2009. She looked so different then! Whenever I see her now I can't get over the fact of how much she has changed. But I guess in her line of work and being considered a style icon aging is not on the agenda.

as a Gaga STAN from since she began I was super sad as I saw her changing her face as I found her original face just so uniquely gorgeous and classical look. BUT she is still gorgeous and the work she has done looks good.

She actually confirmed a lot of the surgeries herself: She said during her Howard Stern interview in 2013 that she was addicted to fillers and that she got a hair transplant since her hair was falling out from her wigs, during one of her concerts at the Born This Way Ball she joked about her implants sliding while dancing, she didn't say what implant but I assume it's the chin or cheek. At the MTV European VMA in 2011 David Hasselhof gave her an award and she said that she was actually smiling but we probably can't tell since she had a lot of botox. She also recently shared a video of her in the car singing along to her Song Bloody Mary and her cheeks appear drastically low in volume, she looks like a skeleton, she doesn't have any fat left in her cheeks.

The most obvious change in the thumbnail comparison is that it appears Gaga’s eyes have shrunk. There is less iris exposed and the upper lid is less arched. The whole shape of the eye had changed, become more almond like, rising to the outside. It looks as though both upper and lower lids have been pulled outward and upward.

Fun fact: Lady Gaga was in an episode of The Sopranos when she was only 14 years old. There's an episode where AJ and his friends break into their school late at night, and as him and his friends were destroying the pool room, a group of girls were sitting off to the side, watching and laughing. A young Lady Gaga was one of those girls.

I think you were right about a most things though there was definitely a lot of changes you missed. First of all she has definitely gotten more than one brow lift in here life, shes gotten multiple nose job revisions as well as implants into her chin and cheeks. I also notice that I don't think she had buccal fat removal that was probably the effect of the cheek implants creating that dip. As well as jaw implants recently!

The side camera is good fun although I would recommend that when you directly address audience with a call to action, for instance when you recommend we watch other videos of yours, that the front camera is used. Having the side shot in those moments of direct address is a bit jarring and could break engagement. Otherwise, great video!!

I have to say she does look much older than 36. I was kinda shocked since I'm the same age and I always thought she was in her 40's.

You can clearly see the tragus facelift scar. It’s present in the picture Linkov shows in 2018. Look at where her ear meets her head. Very clear in 2022 (and changed from 2018) which indicates to me an additional surgery. Her ear is essentially separated from her head.

Gaga didn’t have a face or brow lift, her makeup artist uses face tape to lift up her brows and face. The tape is blended with makeup and hidden under her wigs or hair styling. The only possible surgery she might have gotten is buccal fat removal, otherwise, what we see is mostly filler (too much IMO) and heavy and dramatic changes in makeup and weight. There are plenty photos and videos of her on social media where she looks completely normal and then she looks like a different person on the red carpet the following day. She loves to transform her appearance, it’s part of her art.

Dr Gary has such beautiful skin, features and teeth, if I ever have plastic surgery again - I've has one nose job many years ago but didn't and don't like the results - I'd like Dr Gary to do the work, he's wonderful

Hi, doc! Id say that a bony genioplasty (advancement of the chin bone) usually helps with lip incompetence and makes the lower lip less protruding, while improving the neck line bc of the hyoid muscle movement

For the facelift part I think you didn’t consider the fact that she tapes her face under her wigs. There’s plenty of pictures online backstage when she’s getting ready for red carpet and stuff with tape to have a snatched face😁 and when papparazzis photograph her again the next day or so her face looks completely different again

I myself never thought anything about my face even in my forties, but the way my life ended up, and now being the dreaded 55😖😩 I’m just down right depressed,,until about 3 years ago, living 8n a very small town, and people actually saying bad things to me, has really gotten me so bad that I actually haven’t been out in three years, but only to doctors appointments…. I’d give anything to be younger and I wish these people could appreciate themselves more…

Dr. Linkov I have a question or something I'm curious about. So Gaga has spoken about her pain due to fibromyalgia and I wonder if partially she's getting botox in the face due to cosmetic reasons but to also help with the pain? She spoke about it in one of her documentaries and complained of head/face pain. I'm just curious if that's a popular treatment done with fibromyalgia! Love your vids and I love LG 💕

Dr. Linkov, your anaylsis was spot on. I looking at faces all day in Photoshop, and I am approaching my 40th anniversary of working in Digital YMCK, and RBG back in May 1983. I started back when the move was on from film to digital in the Los Angeles Pre-Press Market at the absolute highest level. You have an artists eye Dr. Linkov, which is critical if you are going to be a Top Plastic Surgeon. The two top plastic Surgeons in Scottsdale, Arizona that I have gone to for myself, and my daughter were wonderfully gifted artists. Whoever is operating on Lady Gaga is extremely talented, and she has made wise choices, unlike some severely faded rock stars who are in their 60s or 70s, Madonna anyone. Lady Gaga is beautiful with or without surgery!

I’m pretty certain she did get a chin implant, but not until much later than you indicate here in the video. You can see in the 2011 picture for example that her chin was still fairly weak around that time. 2012 was when she (visibly) started experimenting with filler, mostly in the lips-this is when the chin starts projecting more, but it isn’t until 2016 or so when it finally becomes more contiguous with the jaw/jowl area and stops changing appearance. I also suspect you jumped the gun on her rhinoplasty, but that one is a little harder for me to pin down to a certain date. Much more likely in the 2009-2014 window though, if I had to guess. Gaga can be tricky to analyze because of how radically different she looks day-to-day, especially earlier in her career. But really glad to see you covering her changes! EDIT: Also, I think you nailed the facelift! Pretty sure it was done at some point in the second half of 2021, because she showed up to Jimmy Kimmel in January 2022 looking notably more taut and upswept than she had 12 months prior.
