I found that this Yak tracks SO Strong As you see in this video,,
I was shocked to see how well it is in the wind BIGTIME,,
The Bag would not turn the Yak around, The Yak wanted to keep straight That's a Very Good Thing,, raptorkayakcanada.ca/pages/ra...

Great demonstration. Drift socks are so handy when used correctly and yes a knife is something you want quick access too if the situation goes bad. Most kayaks would have spun like a styrofoam cup in that wind.

There was current lot's of it. Thats a big river. There was a lot of wind as well.

Try closing the bottom of the cone a bit... maybe losing water pressure
