Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered seems to have left the Skorpion just as goofy and niche as it always was. I love this little SMG, but I can't honestly tell you that the Skorpion is a good weapon.

The iron sights on the skorpion are the best. It's extremely easy to aim and snipe with. Red Dot sight adds visual recoil, and acog scope adds idle sway. Driftor doesn't know what he's talking about there.

It didn't increase the 2 shot range it just made the next range cost one less bullet to get a kill, it does more damage, but he didn't say anything about a range increase.

Barghest Blue How are you people so dumb... Let me explain, in EXCRUCIATING DETAIL, so that no one else gets confused: In a nutshell, Stopping Power is 1 less bullet to kill. But there are exceptions. For the 5 meters that the Skorpion does 50 damage, Stopping Power does not change the shots to kill. Now, after that 5 meters, the Skorpion drops off *linearly* to 20 damage. That means every damage number in between those is damage the Skorpion can do at some extremely specific range. For example, at the very specific range where the Skorpion deals 35 damage, the shots to kill are not changed by Stopping power, because 35 and 49 are both 3 shot kills. Without Stopping power, your 2 shot kill range is 5 meters. The second the damage drop begins, you get to 49 damage, no longer a 2 shot kill. When you add Stopping Power, this changes: for the portion of the dropoff where you were dealing 49-36 damage, you are now dealing 50 or more damage. THAT MEANS YOU GET A 2 SHOT KILL OUT FURTHER THAN 5 METERS. IN OTHER WORDS, TE RANGE AT WHICH YOU GET A 2 SHOT KILL WITH THE SKORPION IS AFFECTED BY STOPPING POWER.

Disagree about the iron sights. The Red dot sight is actually the worst attachment to use because it increases visual kick. The Surpressor doesn't really affect this weapon as the range is awful anyway so you're basically getting a silencer gun without side effects. The Acog Scope can turn the Skorpion into a counter sniper weapon with the recoil so low you can pick enemies off from far away without worrying about going off target.

Honestly I don't agree with this video much at all. Even though it has a 2 shot kill up close, its more consistently a 5 shot kill. I find it more consistent than the other guns of the game. I honestly feel this video is completely opposite of what it should have been. Why didn't you make this video? lol

I agreed with Drift0r about everything except the iron sight. It is very clean, and not obstructive as M16 . Skorpion is the perfect counter sniper weapon with silencer

YC P. I agree with everything other than the it's being the best counter sniper weapon. The TTK at range will allow good snipers to kill your before you can kill them. The M4 is the best counter sniper weapon for me.

Ah, the Skorpion. Fond memories. CoD4 was my first CoD outside of 3's single player. Friends got me to play online, but insisted on hardcore mode. Ended up going with the suppressed skorpion with UAV Jammer as my primary set up. Do you have any idea how sad it is when you're trying to wall bang with it across the map, and you manage to get an almost full magazine worth of hitmarkers? In hardcore? Still, I'll always have a soft spot for this gun in any CoD it shows up in.

NiCoTripleX high damage is only at 5m which is half of shot gun range. Terrible iron sights, high fire rate combined with 20 bullets a mag. So yes. It's not good

back in cod4 i noticed most of the subs carried the same ammo as the m9, also the 74u, and 47 seem the be the same too. you carry extra ammo when holding them together, and refill ammo when running over them.

XxArchangel66xX which is weird because I really don't see a whole lot wrong with them. Like, something like the G36's irons block a lot of your view and warrant something like that, the Scorp's aren't great but they're not even close to as bad as the MSBS or G36, since you at least have the top half of the gun completely unobstructed.

The reload animation inconsistency comes from the fact that if you empty your whole mag there's an additional chambering animation that fully completes your reload (you can see an example at the very end of the video, 6:35 ). If you reload a half full mag however, this final part of the animation will not trigger, but the ammo refill will STILL think it's supposed to happen, thus causing that small annoying delay after mag insertion.

The Skorpion is a fun, mess-around option for FFA. Since a lot of the engagements in FFA in this game are close range, you can get some pretty fast kills. Plus, since you only deal with one or two enemies at a time, the long reload isn't as difficult. All in all, it's a fun option if you are looking for something a little different.

I never personally played this game but it surprises me how much people complained about High Caliber in BO3 since Stopping Power is essentially the same thing except on all shots as opposed to head shots.

Also I think your math might be off a bit on the Stopping Power figured unless for some reason the Skorpion gets an additional 8% damage boost from the perk.

What ammo type does the older scorpion use in real life? Also I think it's a good underrated secondary if you don't mind sacrificing SP or SOH. I have a sniper class and use a set up of Bandolier, Overkill, iron lungs. I get 7+ kill streaks all the time so experimentation is key. I recommend snipers like R700 or Barrett.50

I like using it with Double Tap or Sleight of Hand tbh. On maps with ranges outside SMG range, which is not a lot (only like Bog or Overgrown), I tend to go Sleight of Hand. On any maps besides those, I like Double Tap. Even with Double Tap, the thing is still a lazer. Though reload even more often is bleh.

This gun is fun to use. I love catching people of guard at range with it. Have to use slieght of hand with this because of its almost a kill a clip. If the 3 and 4 shot ranges were better it would be best smg.

I love the iron sight on the Skorpion. And I hate the red dot. I just don't like when the dot doesn't line up with where the shots actually go. Also, I did some testing with the recoil on the Skorpion with and without red dot. The red dot sight actually makes the gun more inaccurate.

Iron sight is actually good if you aim centermass all the time, because no obstructions. However since you get 1 attachment and only that in MW/MWR Reddot is the way to go. Silencer users can go use P90 instead.

I think the range on the skorpion is kinda reasonable because well I assume the bullet it shoots breaks up easy in flight and doesn’t help when it impacts it will probably get destroyed so yea

Can you do an In-Depth of the Karma-45 and RPR Evo in Infinite Warfare? I'm feeling very random accuracy from the Karma and an extremely high 4 shot kill range with the silencer in Assault Rifle mode, which surprises me on how drastically the 2 modes are.

According to an XclusiveAce video, the RPR Evo AR mode has a 3 shot kill range about equal to the NV4's 4 shot range. Doesn't surprise me that it wrecks with a suppressor.

There are many tight corners and contesting points in the game, such as bombs in SnD, flags in domination, The entire portion of shipment and vacant, etc.

logan so basically if you use the weapon properly then it would probably feel inconsistent.. But average casual player probably just runs it and gets generally consistent 5 shots? I think this makes sense

You you recommend some other options for the first perk slot. I notice that all you recommend is stopping power and some time Jugg, not your fault at all, just a flaw with CoD4. I would like to find some uses for the other perks in the tier one slot.

5m= knife range? You can knife someone from 15 or 16 feet away?

in mw2 you could knife somebody 7m away with commando.

Skorpion with a suppressor on it is a laser pointer.

I found skorpion very versalite. on close range as yousay has high damage. on long distance use with silencer as a almost laser weapon. its easy to aim when strafing so you are realy hard target on long distance
