If you never heard of Jekyll Island before before your friend's kin mentioned it to you, you're definitely not very in tune with what's really happened/happening in our world and nation. Jekyll Island is the site of probably one of, if not the biggest act of treason any nation has ever seen that still sadly effects us all today. While I agree that Driftwood Beach is beautiful, I can't help but think that it would be a perfectly symbolic place for some public executions by hanging on those driftwood trees after some military tribunals for treason and crimes against humanity even today.
