Calibrating a drill is a lot more trial and error, and math than a planter is.

Congratulations on finishing your school. My wife is a graduate of Purdue School of Veterinarian Science so we support the school as well. I think I mentioned Dr. Johnson to you previously as having been a big help in getting some things figured out on our farms forage. Don't sell school short. I know you're exhausted now but you will remember it fondly for years to come.

Good work Boss man ! Not many people do what your doing to set the drill, Most times they set it for pounds per acre and go and never look back ! Keep up the great work and showing how things should be done. Bandit

Good video!!! Looks like you have it ready to go now. That is a neat old drill. Is there very much Oliver equipment still being used in your area? You seem to find Oliver equipment pretty easy. Not much Oliver equipment around here anymore.

Oliver66Farmboyyou know that smart take of drop tubes use bags to drop seed in to count the number of seed that have been planted by the drill. The chain did you leave it as is or take out links to make shorter because it should have worked without shorten the drive chain for the seeds.
