Yes I know, same as original. The brush assembly is a bit of a hassle to replace and not big of a price difference compared to a new motor tbh. Thanks for watching mate👍

That's Molybdenum disulfide grease(mos2),pretty common in the automotive industry and often used in constant velocity joints or where there are sealed bearing/gear assemblies.

Hello there, i just want to ask if you have any idea what the problem on my Stanley 18v cordless drill, it happened that the motor is not working. battery is good the indicator light is on if i push the trigger but the problem the motor/or dynamo wasn't spinning or working at all. What is the possible causes and how can i repair this drill. I would be happy if you have some tutorial video with regards of this. Thank you very much. These motors cost like 10 bucks and are made in a way you can't replace the brushes (i did like 10 a day of similar types). The (simple) trick is taking off the gearbox from the motor in a way all the gears stay in place, that's a trick you need to see done once. New motor is a matter of minutes. It makes for a quick repair but it ain't no use for youtube content ;-)

Are you sure this is a brushless motor? The one you showed only has two connections, the fundamentals of brushless motors means it needs 3.

You're right, it's brushed. But the brush assembly is built in making it harder to replace. The cost difference is so small that I decided to replace the motor. I've kept the old one for spare parts. Thanks for watching mate!
