DRILLING COVER CROPS - Drilling Cover Crops With The Vaderstad And Grange Toolbar

So we have decided to try a few options when it comes to Drilling Cover Crops, the options will be outlined in tonights video.
We never thought mintill drilling cover crops would be an option for us but its working and we will continue to use this method.
We ll be using the Vaderstad Rapide 400F and our Grange Toolbar as one of the options for drilling cover crops, let us know what you guys think!

Thanks buddy we are just being normal for once 😂 showing our way of doing things everyone is different hey I’ve really embraced min till or maximum min till 😂😂👍🏽faster I go with the tool bar the more it buried the trash as I’m thinking trash stops my soil blowing away

Mate anything that could’ve gone wrong did and I also had a bent stabiliser which wouldn’t move I was getting my Latin language out for 😂Anna deleted me cussing 🤬

I’m glad to hear that Robert and yes I reckon on our land I could just put it on with a spreader and roll it in will show you the results this week hopefully all up and away growing well with minimal imput 👍🏽🙌🏽yeah can’t thank olly enough really nice bloke hopefully do more with him in the future also got to hangout with fen farmer this week as well great meeting new farmers

Bugger not any ??? We’ve had 40 maybe 45mm soon went tho and my metal is wearing out pretty fast for us we never wear anything out 😂🫣

Thanks Graham we are right near Ely very different to what I see in the north the other day 😂😂we only have a 600 acres and down from nearly 1000 at one point gave up some sandy crap and cut staff to do all on our own and we love it 🙌🏽 we supply really high end chip shops with our spuds and our wheat is getting better marsh land isn’t the best wheat land we are on an old lake bed all ground up sea shells we farm on called white eau very odd soil type nothing like it anywhere in the world

Hi Daniel it’s nice to get out on the stubble with the drill, have you ever thought about putting the toolbar on the front linkage? Be less stress on the drill. Looking forward to your hats coming on sale soon. Fenland Rob

Cheers buddy and yeah thought about it but works really well with drill hooked on the back of the tool bar just a lot of weight off the front wheels of the tractor 😂7r250 would sort the balance problem

@@danielsizer41 we have had to run limited irrigation overnight and only once a week with two reels. We only had one night of rain about 3/4”. Nowhere near enough.
