This is BEAUTIFUL!! Ilove birch trees too. They remind me of the times i spent visiting my childhood penfriend in Finland from my home in South Africa as an adult. I was there during the Finnish Autumn or "Ruska" time when the birch forests were losing their leaves & the colours were just so beautiful!! One day i will try to capture that on canvas 🤞 Thank you for this tutorial - it will definately help me!!😍❤🌹❤

I love the look of Birch trees even though I have never seen them in real life. I think it's the texture that draws me to them, along with their color. The way you make them is fantastic for beginners like me. I'm still trying to find the moss/grass effects so I can try this. Have you ever tried to attach dried moss or grass to one of your paintings? If so, how did it work out, and what did you attach it with? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. What a lovely transition from what seemed like a beginning of a painting with a darker sky. To this wonderful enchanted forest!! This is such a great painting. I would never have imagined using cracking paint for birch trees. Such great texture. And then the heat gun to give more texture to the bottom of your "forest". This is wonderful Veronika. thank you!!
