For me John is the best Carp angler in the world. Slightly eccentric, incredibly committed, talented, determined, mildly disorganised, tough, innovative and willing to fish places the tackle tarts wouldn't ever consider fishing. He is literally the essence of adventurous Carp fishing. Not interested in named fish and all the bullshit that goes with that. Simple rigs, good bait, insanely good watercraft. Such a sense of anticipation for his new vids.
