Oh and at the wears valley intersection off to the right on the main parkway all those businesses that are there now it was Ogles Water Park with big water slides and a big parking lot there in the 1980s. I actually miss the old days of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg when it was not very crowded and touristy like today.

Love these videos. If you’re ever thinking they’re getting old and we don’t wanna see them, we do! 😊 You could probably go once a week down the same roads and we’d still love to watch! Thank y’all for taking us along! I’d love to see y’all go off the side roads of Gatlinburg and maybe an in-depth video of exploring all the shops surrounding the Old Mill area. We loved walking through that whole area

Leaving out in the morning from Kentucky. We allways enjoy walking the strip and Gatlinburg. Been waiting 3 yrs to go again. Tons of fun.

Thanks for taking us along! We have vacationed in the area over a dozen times, the last time was last October. We love it there and actually thought we would move there from NJ before we decided to move to the Myrtle Beach area instead to have a little more mild of a winter. We stayed in Gatlinburg the first time years ago and now our favorite area to stay is Wears Valley. It's so beautiful there. We will be returning!

Great video Will and Dawn. It’s really good to see the Parkway from Sevierville thru Pigeon Forge and then on to Gatlinburg. The traffic wasn’t too bad. A little bit in Pigeon Forge and around the Hillbilly Golf area in Gatlinburg. I can imagine the traffic is a lot worse on the weekend. Talk to you soon. 🗻🙂😉❤️

You can also catch the trolly at the welcome center. That way you don't have to worry about parking. Our if you were in Piegon Forge park and ride the trolly to welcome center buy a day pass ride any all day on the trollies . I did all the time when I lived in Sevierville

I love how you guys give a little insight as oppose to just driving and speaking the obvious. With all your experiences .. you guys should do a top 10 or top 5 list on restaurants, attractions, shows, etc.. BE a fun run down.. .

Hi guys! Ya know what I was thinking watching your video was you 2 are building a great legacy for Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg . We return there because of your videos and keeping us all in the loop what's going on! Idk if there is a hall of fame for this area, but i believe someday people will say Gatlinburg and Yankee in the South in the same sentence. I don't know any other group that has the following like you guys do! Keep up great work! 😊😊

I remember Magic World as a kid. I lived in Maryville and my parents brought me there in the 1970s. It was fun. And before it was Dollywood it was Silver Dollar City when I was a teenager in the 80s and before that it was Gold Rush Junction in the 1970s and I went to it each decade. I remember going in 1971 at age 5 with my parents and rode the train and they had cowboy re-enactments with shootings. I enjoyed that!

Oh my goodness!!! Ya know all i knew of gatlingburg was the trolls that scared me to death especially the huge one in the store. And ive never been to Dollywood but i did go to silver dollar city once and my first roller coaster ever was the one that was inside and everything seemed like it was on fire and near the end it was like a train was gonna hit ya then you did a drop roll...man i loved that!!! I cant wait to go to Dollywood someday cause i now have 2 kids at just the right ages that will love it and remember. Maybe 2021 if i can save up enough.

My daughter who lives in the Las Vegas area really looks forward to seeing the green grass whenever they come home to West Virginia. They usually come at Christmas time so the grass isn't very green then. The front yard of their house is Vegas is all rock since grass doesn't grow that well in the desert.
