I enjoyed the video. Very well done. Portland appears to look cleaner than I expected.

The only “bad” party of Downtown Portland is the Old Town/Chinatown district. Lots of tents there. But other than that one corner of the urban core, the city has improved significantly from last year.

Thanks for posting this. So many people like to go to where the homeless are and try to scare everyone into thinking they're everywhere. The city has been through a rough couple years, but things are turning around. A recent $45 million surplus is all being allocated to 500 new shelter beds, double the outreach workers, and increased cleanup of graffiti and trash. The local regional govt, Metro, is one again responding to illegal trash dumping in 2 days now, as opposed to the 75 day response in 2020 because of covid keeping their cleanup prison labor inside. It'll be nice to have people returning to work and bringing some more for traffic downtown, hopefully sooner than later! Thanks again for the lovely tour.
